Hi!
My name is Beatriz. I’m a 25 years old passionate about education, psychology, children and art. Working with kids, listening to their ideas, the way they see the world and taking them seriously is very fulfilling to me. Lately, after spending two weeks in Italy studying about the Reggio Emilia approach, I found myself open to new things and experiencing the joy of traveling and being immersive in a new culture. Now I want more of that!

Quais são suas habilidades?

I can be really creative. I love painting and drawing. I’m not the best cook in the world, but I can make a delicious lasagna (and also prepare a decent meal and a lot of brazilian desserts!). I love working with kids! I have some experience with children and teens, on and off college. I have a bachelor in psychology and I’m currently working with a social and emocional learning program (SEL) in a school in Brazil, where I do a ton of activities with the kids, read stories and talk about emotions in a very playful way. It’s my second year at this job. I'm also studying to be a child therapist in the near future.

I love cats! Also dogs, of course, but cats have my heart. My favorite video game is Super Mario World. Painting is very therapeutic to me. I really like reading, mostly books about adulthood, mental health and mysteries. Sally Rooney is my favorite author. I love a good drama coming of age movie and folk/pop music. One time I watched Lorde and Phoebe Bridgers singing live, as a duet, in front of me, it was amazing!
