Hello there!
I'm Baptiste, from Albi, South of France!
After hitchhiking across Europe for a very long period, I want to continue to explore the continent by living immersive experiences and meet awesome people!
During this period, I developped a strong interest for social issues as I kinda randomly ended up volunteering in a refugee camp at the Polish/Ukrainian border. It really reminded me that I must use my time and energy to contribute to meaningful projects and build a better world.
More recently, I directed a documentary about climate anxiety, and it lead me to visit a self-sufficient village and to spend 3 weeks in a pedagogic garden where I learnt the basics of agro-ecology. These days were both peaceful and stimulating, among the best of my life!
Therefore, I'm looking for new experiences of this kind in order to develop my skills with nature, building, DIY, work with wood...
I'm also very interested in health. I had a few severe tendonopathies that I had to heal with a lot of mobility exercises. During this process, I made extra researches about nutrition, cooking, training... So, if we can share recipes, practice yoga or calisthenics together... That's awesome.
Last but not least, I recently started to travel with a ukulele and know a few songs. If you like to sing or play music, we might have fun!

Quais são suas habilidades?
I am quite a polyvalent person.
When I travelled by hitchhiking, I had to talk several languages to find people to drive from a place to another, or to find people to host me! I can speak English, Spanish, I learnt Italian by myself, and I am able to make simple requests in German!
As I know a lot of different ways to learn languages, I think I could be a good teacher for French !
More recently, I had my first experiences in hotel and restaurants: first was a volunteering in a hostel in Rimini (Italy), then I worked as a waiter (and a bit in the kitchen!) in a restaurant in the French Alps and finally spend 2 month as a barista/waiter in a coffee shop in Paris.
I really like to cook, I learned a few nice recipes during my trips (tartiflette, French crepe, tortilla de patata, risotto, bortsch, mafé...). Therefore, I'll be really enthusiastic to develop my skills in this area
I have an experience as scout chief and as volunteer in the townships of Cape Town, it taught me lot about how to take care about children (and beeing the older brother of two boys did help a bit too ;p).
And as I studied cinematography, I'll be able to help you with any work you'll have if you need someone to make pictures, a movie, editing... And I also know how to draw (mainly faces and cartoon characters)!
