Hey all!
I'm Bálint, a Hungarian guy who just did his first Workaway volunteering in autumn 2024 in Sweden, then traveled home through Finland and Poland.

I plan to go on my next adventure from early May 2025.

I was doing building tasks, general maintenance and some social media.
For example, I was helping renovate this Swedish wooden cabin or "stuga":

Currently I'm very much interested in learning self-sufficiency, growing vegetables, garden work, learning to work with animals, being in nature, being part of a commune of people helping each other grow. I used to have small balcony gardens and loved them, I recently started baking my own sourdough bread.

I have varying degrees of experience in different things.
In the past year, - among others - I was a:
- digital content creator (video editing, graphic illustrations, blogging, vlogging, post texts)
- drummer and bedroom musician: recorded my own music and drum covers

- hiker: started doing the cross-country Hungarian Blue Trail (Kéktúra) in the beginning of 2023 and have done around half of the 1170 km so far
- cyclist: cycling everywhere almost daily (back in Hungary)
- language enthusiast: more on this below
- part-time volunteer: was volunteering last year in Hungary by helping disadvantaged children with tutoring
- technical writer
- project manager
- employer branding person

I have a category B driver's license.

I speak English (and Hungarian of course) fluently and I could teach those. I also speak some German - learned it for 3 years but forgot a lot as I'm not using it every day. I can also speak some Swedish.

I'd really like to learn farming, gardening, working with animals, self-sufficiency, maintenance work.

10 years ago I was working in the kitchen of a summer camp in Pennsylvania, USA and have been wanting to have similar experience ever since.

in addition to these, don't be afraid to give me anything you'd like help with, I'm pretty sure I can manage
