Hi, I'm Julia from Germany!

I'm excited to travel breathtaking Brazil and learn about the lovely people, rich culture, incredible nature and wonderful language! Currently, I am learning Portuguese and I'd love to advance my skills. After I stayed in Portugal for a while, I got very much inspired by the Brazilian culture and would love to get a glimpse of the Brazilian ways of living.

Food is one of my greatest passions - I love trying and cooking new food, enjoying dinners in company!
Music and photography - being creative in general - are the other pleasures I enjoy. Can't wait to experience the variety of Brazilian music and capture Brazilian life.
As a scientist, curiosity and excitement about the world and how things work lies in my nature. I love exploring! By hiking and in a Biologist-like manner - dig in the dirt to find insects and plants. And I love connecting with people - hearing their stories and learning about their way of life.

I’m a communicative, open-hearted, and caring person who values respect to people and nature. I’m resourceful, organized, curious, and quick to learn, always eager to take on new challenges. Whether it’s working with animals, engaging with children, tackling physical tasks, or helping with gardening or household chores, I’m ready to contribute wherever I’m needed.
Also, I am a great cook! :-)

With a Master’s degree in Biology, where I focused on cancer research, I’ve developed strong skills in scientific thinking and problem-solving.
I worked in several jobs during my life - in service during my school time, at a veterinarian station and a retirement home for a short while, in a green house and doing research in the lab during my studies.
