We are Steve and Fiona.
We are travelling from the UK to Georgia starting in March 2025. We intend to spend three months travelling between the Hook of Holland and Istanbul and on route we would like to help out at various workaways to give us some focus but also to meet like minded people who we can create memories with.
We are travelling in our motorhome which is entirely self sufficient and so would not require accommodation or food – we can provide images of our motorhome in case you cannot host us due to our size (11m). Having said that, please don’t reject us simply on the size of our RV – we are equally happy to stay at the local Aire and still help you out while we are in the vicinity (we have a motorbike to use for local journeys).
What can we offer you? We are both experienced CELTA qualified English teachers who are more than happy to teach if appropriate. We love animals (we are travelling with a dog and a cat – who have both been trained by us – even the cat has excellent recall. We would love to get involved with animal rescue, animal training, socialisation and farm work.
Additionally, we have a FPV drone (DJI FPV) that we can use to create social media video’s for you if desired. Steve is also heavily into sim racing and has a setup on the motorhome which could be used for games nights (PC, racing chair etc can be easily moved to a common area for a games night). We also have two Quest 3 VR (virtual reality) headsets which again can be used to create tournaments or games evenings – there are several activities using the headset appropriate for large or small groups e.g ‘keep talking and no-one explodes’.
Finally, we love to cook - especially BBQ’s; we have a pizza oven capable of cooking 30 pizza's an hour.
With our motorhome being completely self-sufficient with a substantial solar and lithium battery setup, we are able to provide (limited) power if you suffer from power cuts or maybe need temporary power away from your main residence.
Other than that, Steve is more than capable of general hard work and isn’t scared of getting his hands dirty. Fiona cannot do physical work due to illness (joint issue) but has secretarial experience and is incredibly sociable and willing to get involved with any other tasks that don’t require physical strength.
