Hello from Italy!

We are Leo, Ire, and little Edo — a young family from Italy preparing to begin a new chapter of our lives. In the coming months, we will be setting off across Europe in our self-converted camper van, looking for meaningful experiences, genuine connections, and beautiful places where we can learn, contribute, and grow together.

Recently, we made one of the biggest decisions of our lives. We realized that life is too short to keep postponing our dreams, so we chose to leave behind our comfortable routine, a stable job, and the security of staying in one place to create a life that feels more connected to nature, people, and what truly matters.

We bought a van, converted it into our home on wheels, added solar panels, and are now preparing for this adventure as a family. We don't know exactly where this journey will take us, but we know why we chose it: to live more intentionally, spend more time together, meet inspiring people, and experience life in a deeper way.

Travel has always been a big part of our lives. Over the years, we have explored different parts of Europe, traveled through Canada and the United States, and experienced unforgettable adventures along the way. One of our favorite journeys was a bikepacking trip across Thailand, where we learned how rewarding it can be to travel slowly, connect with local people, and embrace simplicity.

Nature is where we feel most alive. We love waking up to birdsong, working outdoors, caring for animals, growing food, building things with our hands, and ending the day under the stars. We are looking for hosts who share these values and who enjoy creating a positive, family-friendly environment.

Leo is a hands-on problem solver who genuinely enjoys building, repairing, organizing, and finding practical solutions. He has experience in construction, maintenance, DIY projects, and farm work. One of his favorite experiences was a Workaway in British Columbia, Canada, where he worked on a horse farm with Appaloosa horses and helped care for more than 150 horses. He loves animals, outdoor work, and learning new skills, and is always happy to jump into any project that needs an extra pair of hands.

Leo is also passionate about Muay Thai. For him, it is much more than a combat sport: it is a discipline that teaches respect, humility, self-control, resilience, and a strong connection between mind and body. He enjoys training, sharing what he has learned, and helping others discover the positive values behind martial arts. If anyone is interested, he would be happy to share basic techniques, training methods, and the philosophy that makes Muay Thai such a rewarding practice.

Ire brings creativity, positivity, and attention to detail. She loves working with plants, gardening, and helping things grow. Whether it's caring for a vegetable garden, planting flowers, organizing outdoor spaces, or taking care of everyday tasks, she enjoys creating beautiful and welcoming environments. She also loves painting, creative projects, decorating, and bringing ideas to life with her hands.

She has also completed a personal coaching path and is passionate about personal growth, self-reflection, and meaningful conversations. She loves connecting with people, asking thoughtful questions, sharing perspectives, and exploring what helps us grow as human beings.

Animals hold a special place in her heart. She feels naturally connected to them and genuinely enjoys caring for them, spending time with them, and understanding their unique personalities. Whether it's farm animals, dogs, cats, or horses, she is happiest when surrounded by animals and nature.

And then there is Edo, our little explorer! He is not even one year old yet, but he already loves being outdoors, meeting people, watching animals, and discovering the world around him. We are excited to share this adventure with him and see the world through his curious eyes.

When we're not working, you'll probably find us hiking, cycling, playing volleyball, swimming, dancing, training Muay Thai, playing chess, or enjoying board games like Catan. We love sharing meals, stories, laughter, and experiences with people from different cultures.

We are not looking for a holiday. We are looking for opportunities to contribute, learn, help, and become part of everyday life for a while. We would love to help with animals, gardening, building projects, maintenance, farming, or anything else that needs doing.

As parents, we especially appreciate warm and welcoming family environments. We love the idea of children growing up surrounded by nature, animals, creativity, and people from different backgrounds.

We arrive with enthusiasm, curiosity, a strong work ethic, open minds, and plenty of smiles. We are excited to meet wonderful people, help wherever we can, and create unforgettable memories together.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We are Leonardo and Irene, an Italian couple travelling with our young son Edoardo.

Leonardo is a practical, reliable, and hardworking person with experience in construction, maintenance, DIY projects, and general manual work. He has worked on farms before and is comfortable with physical tasks, outdoor work, gardening, landscaping, animal care, repairs, painting, and using tools. He enjoys building, fixing things, solving problems, and keeping projects organized and efficient.

Irene is creative, adaptable, and detail-oriented. She enjoys hands-on creative projects, painting, decorating, organizing spaces, and helping to improve and beautify environments. She is also happy to help with gardening, plant care, animal care, housekeeping, and any daily tasks that support family or community life.

Together, we are responsible, respectful, and eager to learn. We work well as a team, are not afraid of hard work, and always try to bring positive energy wherever we go. We are comfortable living in rural environments, spending time outdoors, and adapting to different lifestyles and cultures.

As a family, we value cooperation, kindness, and genuine human connections. We are happy to help wherever needed and always approach new experiences with curiosity, enthusiasm, and an open mind.
