Hi! We’re Antonio and Filippo two guys born and raised in Rome since 2006.
Last year we chose to share our passion for philosophy, signing both of us at the Sapienza University here in our hometown. We met each other a long time ago, but last year we really realised the chemistry we have, for this reason we wanna start travelling together because we felt the need to leave our comfort zone to fly abroad and meet new people with interesting cultures to share.
This is because we understood that travelling as a tourist isn’t enough, we need to stay longer than a few days and to live/work with the locals to really get in the culture, so that we can come back enriched by the experience and with a lot of more knowledge.
Because at the end of the day what matters is the memories you made with people that have shared love with you :)

Quais são suas habilidades?

Hey!

We are Antonio and Filippo, two adventurous, sporty, and proactive philosophy students from Rome, Italy.

After completing our classical studies, we embarked on an intense one-month Interrail journey across Europe. This experience completely ignited our passion for traveling and connecting with different people. Now, we feel a strong need to dive deeper into distant and unfamiliar cultures. We believe joining the Workaway community is the perfect way to truly immerse ourselves in new ways of life and give back in a meaningful way.

We are sociable and highly eager to learn. We are fluent in both English and Italian. We are open to cultural and language exchanges with our hosts and the local communities.

Down below you can read a bit more about our individual backgrounds:

Antonio: I am very passionate about photography , so I would love to document our journey and also your project if it helps! I also have some basic experience helping out with a family B&B at home in Rome, which taught me how to welcome guests and keep things clean and organized.

Filippo: I have played team sports my entire life, which has taught me the value of active collaboration and how to mediate in tense situations. I am skilled at writing and very comfortable with manual labor, having previously worked outdoors on Italian beaches and in the countryside.

Combined Skills:
Together, we combine a friendly approach to hospitality with a strong work ethic for manual and indoor/outdoor tasks. We are capable of welcoming guests, assisting with daily chores, helping out in the garden or fields, and providing photography or writing support, all while collaborating smoothly as a reliable and adaptable team.
