I’m Anne-Maartje, a 26-year-old from the Netherlands with a passion for exploring the world. After years of working in hospitality, I’ve decided to embark on a 12-month journey to travel, work, and learn new skills.
I thrive on staying active and love the idea of combining my travels with meaningful Workaway experiences. Whether it’s helping out with day-to-day tasks, contributing to a project, or learning something new, I’m excited to dive in and make the most of each opportunity.
In my free time, I’m all about enjoying the simple pleasures in life: spending time with family, having fun, discovering new places, being surrounded by nature, savoring good food, and indulging in a nice glass of wine. 🍷
I’m eager to meet new people, exchange cultures, and contribute positively to the communities I visit. Looking forward to the adventures ahead!

I grew up on a farm, Through which I learnt many skills both inside and outside.
Since I was 13 years old I’ve worked in various departments in the hospitality branch. Such as kitchen, house keeping, service and reception.
I’m always trying to keep my self occupied and learn new things.
