Hi! 😊

We are Anna (26) and Matthias (29), a couple from Germany currently traveling around New Zealand on a work & travel journey. We’ve been together for 12 years and love experiencing new places and meeting people along the way.

We decided to leave our jobs and apartment in Germany to travel, learn new things, and step out of our comfort zone. We’re traveling in our van and really enjoy a simple lifestyle with fewer possessions.

We’re also at a point where we want to explore what kind of lifestyle truly suits us, and we’re very interested in discovering alternative ways of living.

We love spending time outdoors: hiking, being in nature, and exploring new areas. For us, traveling is about connecting with people and experiencing everyday life in different places.

We’re easygoing, respectful, and enjoy a calm and friendly atmosphere, but also like to stay active and get involved. Animals are very important to us, and we always enjoy being around them.

We also like cooking, sharing meals, and living a mindful, simple lifestyle.

We’re looking forward to meeting new people, sharing experiences, and becoming part of your daily life for a while 🌞

Quais são suas habilidades?

Our skills:

We are both hands-on, reliable, and enjoy practical work. As a couple for 12 years, we work very well as a team and are used to supporting each other. We’re quick learners, adaptable, and happy to help wherever needed. We love spending time in nature and living a mindful, simple lifestyle.

Anna has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Social Work and enjoys working with people, especially children. She has experience as a social worker in a primary school and brings patience, empathy, and a responsible attitude.

Matthias has a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Business Psychology as well as Social Work. He has also worked as a social worker in a primary school and enjoys working with people in a practical and supportive way.

We both enjoy physical, outdoor work and feel comfortable working outside. Through our farm jobs in New Zealand, we’ve gained experience in gardening and general farm tasks and are happy to help wherever needed – whether it’s gardening, household tasks, or working with animals.

We both love animals and have experience caring for a foster dog, so we’re always happy to help with pets.

We both enjoy cooking, eating fresh and healthy food, and following a mostly vegetarian diet.

Together, we’re easygoing, motivated, and always happy to learn new things.
