My name is Anaïs and I'm 24 yo! I'm french pastry chef since 5 years, but I decided to slow down a bit my carrier to travel. That's why, in August 2022 I made the choice to plan a world tour by hitchhiking.

I love outdoor lifestyle : hiking, swimming, riding horses, gardening... I'm also really interested about farming and especially organic farming. Learning about what people are eating around the world and how they're farming, it's my goal during my travel !

I spent the winter season 2022-2023 in Saskatchewan (Canada) helping a musher family. I had to look after 60 dogs and most of the time being on the road to give dog sled rides in different schools all around the province. It was such a good experience, I learned a lot ! Then I kept traveling south, until I stopped for 1 month in a dog shelter in Mexico, and I loved it. I got to live in a house in the jungle, walk the dog through it every day, and enjoy the Mexican food ! After Mexico I hitchhiked all the way to Guatemala, where I volunteered for the first time for a NGO, who help Maya women to know about their rights. During this time my partner and I decided to launch our own NGO, we worked a lot for it. We finally launch it in May 2024. We're reporting during our hitchhiking world tour about craftsmens who by their knowledge can help against climate change! So we have our own YouTube channel and Instagram account and website.

I'm feeling confortable with everything ! I love animals, in France with my family we have 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 donkey, 2 horses and chickens. We make a vegetables organic garden. Be outdoor is a real pleasure for me. But inside aswell, I was pastry chef and I like play boardgame.
