Hi, my name is Anaëlle and I'm a 22-year-old French girl! I'm passionate about sustainable development, human relations, manual activities and animals 🌾

By discovering New Zealand, I hope putting my curiosity to good use by helping you, meet you, make you laugh (because I love that), learn about your practices and also listen to your stories so that I can be inspired and grow.

I like to dabble in everything. I've done a lot of dance, athletics, theatre and climbing. I've been lucky enough to have a sewing machine since I was 17 and I've been trying to learn the best I could on my own.
In France, I like to get involved in the voluntary sector, whether it's helping disadvantaged people or bringing life to our neighbourhood by organising events and concerts.

I've always loved working outdoors.
My family has an 800 square metre plot of land with no water or electricity, which we maintain regularly. We spend the best weekends there with family, friends or sometimes on our own - it also feels good!
I'm very close to animals as well; I've had cats, a turtle and a rabbit. I've also took care dogs, horses and chickens.

In 2024, I graduated from a degree in Business Management in a renewable energy company where I worked as a CSR Manager. But I needed to disconnect from the computer that I use every day and since the age of 16 I'd been dreaming of moving to a country that was more like me and where nature have a lot of room.

Since I arrived in New-Zealand, I've been lucky enough to do a lot of wwoofing while visiting the South Island. I've learnt how to plant trees, take cuttings, weed by hand and look after animals on a small farm and in a sanctuary. It was such an enriching experience that I don't intend to stop there!

My level in English is much better than when I arrived. I understand you, but I still have trouble expressing myself perfectly. I'm still learning and I'd be very grateful if you could correct me and help me.

Now I'm looking forward to meeting you for a face-to-face chat, it's always better ;)
