Hello All :)
My name is Joseph, and I am from the US originally. We are based in France now and living full time in our van. I spent 10 years in the US working in business before deciding that I could not continue in a career focused only on money - both as an individual and as part of a primarily profit motivated system that is creating massive problems for almost everyone...
So! Best to spend my life's remaining time doing things I love!
I am interested in workaway because I want to be outside more, experience different cultures, learn new skills and connect with interesting people. I have a particular interest in building skills and understanding related to sustainable agriculture and the natural world.

Quais são suas habilidades?

Amelie:
I have a certification in social work. I have experiences with kids, teenagers, and people with autism.
I also worked for a while in hospitality as a teenager, and last year, in Australia.

Apart from that, I am pretty fit and active. I like to spend time outside, being close to animals and nature. I grew up in a country side part of France. I also love music, I sing and play ukulele (try to learn guitar also).

I had a WWOOFing experience in France 2 years ago for two months, with a dog breeder.

Joseph:
My educacional background is Business and Engineering, and I worked in Information Technology for large US corporations for 10 years. Since leaving 2 years ago, I have been focused on expanding my perspective through travel. I have a fair bit of outdoor and survival experience, but little agricultural experience thus far. Also, I have general maintenance skills through home ownership.

More than anything though, I am calm, thoughtful, open-minded, enthusiastic and interested in human connection and growing as a person.
