Descrição

Hello, we’re Alma and Andrea (yes, in Italy Andrea is a boy’s name :D)
We’re 26 and 27 years old and we live in Florence, Italy.

Alma:
After graduating from the hotel school in Florence I spent one year doing the civil service, with which I helped the children entrusted to social services.
In 2018 I spent some months in Scotland as aupair. Then I worked in my village as a waitress in a restaurant and then I spent the summer in England, working as workaway for 5 month (in 2 different farms, in a Hotel, and in a Museum Ship)
When I came back to Italy, I worked for 4 years as Customer Support for an Online Platform. In 2023 I finished my contract to start working as a Pastry Chef in a Pastry in Florence.
I'm currently working as Pastry Chef in a Pizzeria in my village.
My Spanish is rather good as I spent one year in Colombia as a student on an international exchange in 2015/2016.
I love painting, making desserts and exploring new places. I also love trekking and any outdoor activity.

Andrea:
After graduating from the graphic design school in Prato I spent 2 years working as a barman.
From 2019 to 2023 I worked in a textile company in the printing, manufacturing and finishing department.
In October 2023 I start my new work in the plumbing sector in Florence. In my current company I’m learning the repair of pipes, the creation of new thermal power plants, modification and creation of civil systems for user water and heating, assembly of sanitary ware and air conditioning machines.
I have two great passions: photography and climbing (both in the gym and at the crag).
I also love trekking and any outdoor activity

About US
We met in 2021 in a climbing session, we had a good and strong friendship that began an official relationship in 2022 and now we are a pair for longer than 2 years.
We really enjoy our time spent together and with our friends, and we really like to know new people and places, explore and know new cultures and customs and share our "italianity". We love to cook, and making fresh pasta, desserts, pizza etc.
It would be our first workaway experience together, and we can’t wait to get to Australia

We can work in hostels, guests house, restaurants and B&B, but we also like agriculture, expecially organic, and we really like to learn new skills and things.
Andrea is good at plumbing work.
Alma loves children and she can also do baby sitting if needed. She also loves to cook (especially desserts)
