Hi! We are Alejandra (39), Adrián (39), and Ciro (3).

We are a family from Montevideo, Uruguay. We met in high school and have been best friends ever since. We lived so many adventures traveling the world, this time we want to share this experience with our son and pup.

We have been dreaming about this for a very long time and would love to meet open-minded, kind-hearted, fun-loving people to share, learn from, and of course, help in any way we can. The world is such a beautiful and complicated place... everything works better when we help each other out. :)

Alejandra has been working as a certified primary school English teacher in both public and private schools for over 15 years. She is also midway through her Linguistics degree, highly interested in language acquisition, and speaks basic French. Additionally, she holds a Master's degree in yoga for children.

Adrian holds a Technical degree in Logistics and works for the local government and has a special superpower; he can fix almost anything!

We love art, music, and are interested in getting to know the traditions of the cultures we visit. Our dog Nina is traveling with us, making our adventures even more special.

We are all fluent in Spanish. Alejandra is an English teacher and Adrian has an intermediate level. Our son Ciro is being raised bilingually and understands both Spanish and English.

Quais são suas habilidades?

We helped each other by describing the other's skills, so here it goes:

Alejandra works as an English teacher with children aged 5 - 12 and loves her job deeply. She has the patience, organizational skills, the curiosity and the willingness to learn that teaching requires, and she tries to use these skills when approaching tasks in general. She is quite strong and fit ,and is not afraid of doing physical work. She is also quite skilled in the kitchen and with house chores in general, and is the one who handles social media, internet, and technology :)

Adrián has excellent building and maintenance skills. He worked in construction for many years (since he was 16) and has solid knowledge regarding plumbing, electricity, building, etc. The Uruguayan MacGyver, as he is known by his closest friends and co-workers: if it's broken, he can fix it ;) He currently works for the local government helping the Montevideans have a cleaner city. He is honest, reliable and pays a lot of attention to detail.

Our son, Ciro, is a smart, friendly, and curious 3-year-old, but he has solid routines such as waking up early and going to bed before 9 PM. Our work schedules will need to accommodate to his routine, and we have no problem working separately or on different days so one of us can be with him.

Staying for longer periods and enrolling Ciro in a local school would be a huge plus since we would love him to interact with other children. Adrian and Ciro are also Italian citizens.

We respect other's cultures, religion, and homes. We are aware these exchanges take a lot of good will on both sides. We are grateful for the trust we are given and cherish it deeply :)

It would be great to have other children around, so Ciro can socialize.
