We are a German/English couple who love to travel and experience new places and meet new people. We’re organised and efficient (German) and drink lots of tea (English) and are both teachers by profession. Alena has worked with special needs children and Guy runs a volunteer teaching organisation in Indonesia. We would love to help out with worthwhile projects around the world.

We are both teachers and have infinite patience. We love creative projects and can both cook well. Guy has built his own camper van and enjoys carpentry and I love art and design projects.

We hosted Guy for 3 weeks for the harvest and it was great having him. Guy was reliable and showed up with calm strength. From beginning to end, Tom was friendly and accommodating and gave us a fascinating insight to his life in Siavonga and experience travelling throughout Africa. We were given creative freedom and made activity signs, decorative boards and an insect hotel!. Tom’s also a good cook, and mealtimes were a pleasure. Thank you Tom.
