Descrição

We are Adam and Lilla, a Hungarian couple for 7 years now. We have been lucky to go and study in Denmark after finishing high school in Hungary. I had strong ambitions in diplomacy but the more I have learned about politics and the world, the more I understood that the change I was dreaming about can not be done up there, much more down here, close to the soil and the people on it. Lilla has studied health and nutrition because she always wanted to heal people through what they eat.
After a period of complete disillusion when graduating and trying some "normal" jobs, we started to desire a simple life, to be the change ourselves. I believe getting back to the roots is the key to a better world inside and around us. We have started to volunteer to gain experience and help others towards their dream, a dream that is based on the values we share together. We are hoping to become someone who can build, repair, nurture, feed and take care of our environment. We have faith in communities and we are aiming to be a good part of any (well, not any).

We can definitely teach some english and hungarian if someone would need it but honestly we do not have ambitions to be a great language teacher.

Quais são suas habilidades?

I have been taking care of our garden from a yound age, it was a good start.
I have became comfortable with cooking and also found joy in it, happy to cook for myself and others anytime.
I was working as a gardener in Denmark for half a year, that was great to learn about planting, pruning but the plants were mostly not productive plants, it was more about the look. By now I have gained some knowledge and experience with productive plants too but still much more in the phase of learning than teaching.
My first building project was roof that I have built at my grandma's holiday home alone, my family is very proud of it. I enjoy working with wood eversince. After some months of volunteering on the canary islands I became comfortable with building walls with stones, using concrete, making fences, using the generally available power tools.
I have also been taking care of horses so gained a general knowledge about them but mostly regarding their eating habits and needs during the day and the night.
I know what is needed for a good soil and I know how to treat it right.
Still a mountain of things to learn and I am open for it all.
