Our farm is a picturesque 120 acres family farm on the Great Ocean Road. We produce lambs, wool, and daffodils.
The farm has lush pastures, a private waterfall, rain forrest gullies, and spectacular views for miles over nearby towns and coastline. We are members of the local Regenerative Farmers Landcare group and our farm practices are changing to meet the Landcare standards.
It's a busy time of year and help is needed with this regenerative farming project. Located a few kms from the town of Apollo Bay it is the best of a rural working experience, beach side holiday, and a nature retreat.
Come for a few days or stay for a week. There's plenty to do and your help would be appreciated.

A simple lifestyle with the opportunity to learn animal husbandry, regenerative farming techniques, and to interact with people at the local community market. A restorative place to stop over and enjoy an outdoor farming adventure.
Help is needed in Spring, Summer and early Autumn working alongside Steve and Mary to round up and sort sheep, separate lambs for weaning and booster vax, roustabout for shearing, organic worm juice fertiliser for pasture, move and stack fence posts, make fence stiles, connect water troughs and water tanks, plant and weed the vegie garden, maintain the waterfall track, whack thistles, sort out the farm shed, and other farming activities. A self contained cottage overlooking the ocean, with well equipped kitchen, meals area, lounge area with fireplace, satellite TV and chromecast, and big decking area. The pantry and fridge are stocked with food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Cooking and preparation can be self managed or the evening meal can be cooked by the hosts.
Helpers can explore the hidden waterfall, fern gullies, natural bush, and hillside landscape with spectacular views. Other options are walking along the beach, relaxing on the deck overlooking the ocean, and listening to the waves. Apollo Bay township has two very good pubs (hotels) usually with live music, a weekend market, a shopping strip, a fishing harbour, a public golf course, a few churches, and beautiful sandy beaches. It's about 8 kms into town so if you don't have a car the hosts are happy to drive you in and collect you when you're ready to come home. The Otway Ranges and Great Ocean Road is a beautiful part of South West Victoria.
