  We live in Pretoria, a beautiful and safe city in South Africa just North of Johannesburg. I have a partner and two beautiful children, a daughter (16) and a son (14). I work full time from home, and sometimes travel in to town for business.
  
  We love meeting new people from foreign countries and have been involved in CouchSurfing for a few years, hosting several interesting people from all over the world. My children are well mannered and love questioning the guests, and teaching them some Afrikaans (our native language). We are easy-going, friendly and adventurous.

  You will learn South African culture as well as experience living in our beautiful country. You are welcome to travel in the mornings and over weekends if you want to see other parts of the country, or for longer times over school holidays. You will definitely experience a South African braai (barbecue) as my partner does this more than once weekly. You can also learn some South African dishes and we would love to learn making your own native dishes.

  Ajuda

  Painting the house:
  We are planning to paint all the buildings on the yard starting in 2022. You only spend around 4 hours per day painting. You don't need to have any experience, but be willing to spend 4 hours outside daily.
  
  Filling of Terrace and planting grass:
  Because we live next to the mountain and the yard is quite steep, we have 4 terraces. We want to fill up the top terrace and plant grass, next to the pool. This might be some hard labor, but really only if you're up for it ;)
  
  Hydroponics:
  We are in the process of setting up a hydroponics system. I would love for someone to get the system going and take care of it on a daily basis.
  
  Vegetable garden:
  Setting up and maintaining a vegetable garden. I would like if you can do your own research on this.

  Acomodação

  We live in a stand-alone house right next to the Magliesberg mountain. I can provide accommodation in a separate bachelor's flat, with a room and bathroom and basic kitchen. I have wifi available. If you have a driver's license, mostly either the car or the scooter will be available for transport (fuel cost is on your own account).
