I stayed at Demelza's for 3 weeks and had lots of fun with her family. every day was full of new experiences and time passsd quickly.
I really liked spending time after dinner playing cards with her and her family. she welcomed me like I was part of the family.
there were too many fun things to write about. anyway, thank you guys for everything!!!

Yuito stayed with us for 3 weeks and was delightful company for my son and I. The animals loved him. Yuito is a hard worker and was self-directed and independant. Once he had learned how to do the type of work I needed Yuito was great at just going off on his own and getting the job done! Yuito is a very honest person and was fun and easy company

What a incredible place! I have the best Christmas with my dear host and her beautiful family. I came here for work but I feel I am in a dream and never wanna to wake up. Nice people, happy gardening, Saturday farm market and unique wine tasting, let me have lots of fun.

What an amazing week stay at Demelza's farm! This was my first workaway and it was really chill and a good time! I spent the week working on handyman tasks like building a floor, paneling walls, and demolishing old work to renovate the shed living space. I learned new skills and was always given guidance if I was unsure of the task. Besides the
… read more work, time on the farm was really peaceful, when I was working I liked to spend my time with the animals or exploring the bush. We would also find time to do things around town, it was especially fun to check out the saturday market in Kaitaia. Demelza's home and the Lilly family was really welcoming and fun to spend time with, My workaway experience was great and I hope to one day come back to New Zealand and stop by again!Comentário

First of all thank you for making me part of your family for the 2,5 weeks i spent at your place! Everyone was really welcoming and easy to speak to.
I had a lovely time and felt welcome at all times. During my time there Demelza and i took on the project of painting the entire kitchen + lounge which took us longer than expected but it was fun
… read more too. Besides that i did some weeding and we harvested the garlic crop. To balance out the work we also took out the two lovely horses for a ride twice. But anyways whenever i felt like taking a break i was welcome to do so. There is a good few opportunities to do stuff in the area which i am sure you`d had enough time to do if you wanted to.

What a fab work away! Great location, hosts with good knowledge of the area and a relaxed and welcoming home. Good rewarding work and a fair bit of time off to explore beautiful northland. We would definitely recommend a work away here and thanks for the experience!

My stay with Demelza and her family was great! I had a really good time. Happily I saw as much as possible during my short time. Demelza took me always with her to show me the town and the beaches. … read more delicious and I enjoyed every evening to watch television with everyone and have some ice creams, chips and wine!
During my stay, I helped Demelza on her project. The work was not too hard and at the end of a day I was always so proud of us. Demelza and I worked most of the time together and with her help, we did a really good job planting all these plants!
