Hi I live on Shawnigan lake on a large property. My childhood best friend and his wife and two kids live in the house next door.

I mostly welcome help with landscaping as it’s a big wooded area.

I lived in a community on salt spring island for a year and work traded so I know what it’s all about.

I have kayaks and canoes and my car for lend.

I found that 5 hours work was too much when I was a work trader so I ask for only 3 hours a day.

More fun less work is my policy. My intention is to interact with work traders get to know them and embrace cultural, intellectual, and spiritual exchange.

I do participate in breath work ceremonies several times a month and always invite work traders to join.

I have a sauna and hot tub that the work trader would also have access to.

I know the area very well and there is lots of hiking and lake activities to partake in.

Mamen was such a joy to have around. Her cooking is amazing and she was so gentle and kind with Luna my cat.

We stayed with Henry for more than 3 weeks and had amazing time here. His place is just magical and Henry is the best host ! He always was careful for us to feel comfortable and to not miss of anything. We shared a lot of great moments and talks together.
