WHO ARE WE;)
We are two women called Malva (21 years old from Sweden) and Janna (29 years old from Germany) who have bought a place in Sweden together. We have both quite some experience of carpentry, farming and volunteering. And we would love to have a really crazy and fun experience with you on this new place.

WHAT IS THE PLACE<3
It’s a cute little place in Värmland between Hagfors and Filipstad surrounded by some other communities like Ängsbacka and Sunnemo Gard.
The place is around 9000m2 with an old house, a tiny workshop, a tiny barn, an earthcellar and an old cool Norwegian wooden boat. But it’s all a big renovation process, that we will start with this summer.
Our little paradise is surrounded by beautiful Swedish forest and a lake, where it is possible to take a swim in the summer.

WHAT IS THE VISION OF THE PLACE:)
Our vision of this place is to create a playground and a place to stay for people who want to come back to a very basic style of living. We wanna live as close to nature as possible and try to get more and more self sustainable. We want to create a space which encourages creativity and allowes people to try out ideas and dreams, but we also wanna restore the old buildings in the traditional way. We are looking for creative people with lots of energy who wanna cocreate something new!

You will learn more about carpentry, nature, yourself, how to live with no money, and a lot of other things.
Ajuda
This summer our main focus will be on renovating the old buildings. We will try to mainly use recycled material and leftovers. But of course we also wanna have lots of fun, make campfires, play music, dance, go swimming together and enjoy the summer.
Since we live very primitive there will be also a lot of work like making firewood, carrying water, cooking outside and so on.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:)
We are looking for those of you who are social, willing to try something different and don’t need a lot of comfort to enjoy life. People who love nature and care about our Mother Earth. People who are open minded, love to be outside and enjoy being active and do physical work, are practical and like to solve problems with a logical mind. It’s lovely if you have some practical skills but it’s not needed ❤

Acomodação
Since the buildings are under renovation, there will be only sleeping spaces in tents or a van. If you have your own tent or camper we are super happy.
So far we have no running water and no shower. We will build a bucket shower in the beginning of the summer. And there is the lake where you can wash yourself.
There is an outside compost toilet.
Outdoor kitchen.
No Wi-Fi.
Not much electricity.
We want our place to be free from any drugs and alcohol.
Since we want to spend as little money as possible we will go dumpsterdiving a lot and use the food we find there for cooking. We will of course buy the basic food we need and cook together vegan or vegetarian food, depending on the need of the people that are living there at the moment.
