We are a non-profit NGO and legally constituted in Quintana Roo Mexico for 12 years, our interest is to leave a mark on this planet, so our trajectory is based on activities for the environment. Our main lines of action are education and public policies, we have achieved the approval of laws and regulations for animal welfare, as well as inter-institutional alliances and with the Government. We are in the Mexican Caribbean in a tourist destination called Playa del Carmen, which is internationally recognized for the beauty of its beaches and cosmopolitan population; We are leading a project aimed at the rescue and conservation of a natural space located in the coastal area of the city, where we promote activities focused on the environment, education, culture and health. In this space you can enjoy the Caribbean Sea and the beauty of this place full of vegetation together with locals as well as volunteers from various parts of the world, you will learn about local traditions and culture; If you like contact with nature and live in front of the sea, this is the right place for you! We work to make this place self-sustaining, we have a vegetarian kitchen and recreational activities that you can enjoy as part of our community, such as: camping, yoga, singing, music, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, among others. We offer rustic accommodation and breakfast in exchange for 4 hours of volunteering for 5 days a week, we include a breakfast; the minimum stay time is 1 month and maximum 3 months, although it will be put to the test during the first weeks, we have community bathrooms and showers, we ask that you take good care of this resource; we use sunlight so we ask to take care of the connection of electronic devices. The history of this place is very peculiar and although we cannot offer the comforts of a hotel, you can fall in love with this place due to the natural beauty that surrounds it. It is a paradise where numerous species of animals and protected plants such as the mangrove swamp also cohabit, you can enjoy beautiful sunrises and starry nights; Due to the characteristics of this space, we have received the visit of several schools and organizations dedicated to research as well as tourists and the local community. Somos una ONG sin fines de lucro y legalmente constituida en Quintana Roo México desde hace 12 años, nuestro interés es dejar huella en este planeta por lo que nuestra trayectoria se basa en actividades en pro del medio ambiente. Nuestros ejes principales de acción son la educación y políticas públicas, hemos logrado la aprobación de leyes y reglamentos para el bienestar animal, así como alianzas interinstitucionales y con Gobierno. Nos encontramos en el Caribe Mexicano en un destino turístico llamado Playa del Carmen, el cuál es reconocido internacionalmente por la belleza de sus playas y población cosmopolita; estamos liderando un proyecto destinado al rescate y conservación de un espacio natural ubicado en la zona costera de la ciudad, donde promovemos actividades enfocadas al medio ambiente, educación, cultura y salud. En este espacio podrás disfrutar del Mar Caribe y la belleza de este lugar lleno de vegetación junto con locales así como con voluntarios provenientes de varias partes del mundo, conocerás acerca de las tradiciones y cultura local; si te gusta el contacto con la naturaleza y vivir frente al mar este es el sitio adecuado para ti! Trabajamos para hacer este lugar autosustentable, contamos con una cocina vegetariana y actividades recreativas que podrás disfrutar como parte de nuestra comunidad, tales como: camping, yoga, canto, música, kayak, paddle board, snorkel, entre otras. Ofrecemos alojamiento rústico y desayuno a cambio de 4 horas de voluntariado por 6 días a la semana, incluimos el desayuno; el tiempo de estancia mínima es de 1 mes y máximo 3 meses, aunque se pondrá a prueba durante las primeras semanas, contamos con baños y regaderas comunitarias pedimos mucho cuidar este recurso; utilizamos luz solar por lo que pedimos cuidar la conexión de aparatos electrónicos. La historia de este lugar es muy peculiar y aunque no podemos ofrecer las comodidades de un hotel, te puedes enamorar de este lugar ante la belleza natural que lo rodea. Es un paraíso donde además cohabitan numerosas especies de animales y plantas protegidas como el manglar, puedes disfrutar de bellos amaneceres y noches estrelladas; debido a las características de este espacio, hemos recibido la visita de varias escuelas y organizaciones dedicadas a la investigación así como de turistas y comunidad local. We are looking for the following profiles for volunteers.

- International Volunteer in Child Development will play a fundamental role in supporting and promoting the well-being and development of boys and girls. This position will require a strong background in educational psychology and pedagogy, as well as language skills in English, Spanish and German (German is a plus). The volunteer will be a key player in the execution of programs and activities designed to improve the quality of life of children and contribute to the progress of the community

-Someone with experience in location SECURITY, to protect vulnerable areas on our land

-General maintenance with experience in construction, bioconstruction

The more skills and abilities in the above areas, the greater the possibility of being part of our team of volunteers. Regardless of your usual role, it could be the case that you are asked to help with a different task in order to help your colleagues and cover for them when necessary. In addition, all volunteers are asked to contribute to basic cleaning, waste separation and composting tasks.
If you have any skills or are a teacher of any discipline that is consistent with our objectives, we will support you if you have a viable idea of your own social business while stay with us. Estamos en busca de los siguientes perfiles para voluntarios..

- Voluntaria Internacional en Desarrollo Infantil desempeñará un papel fundamental en el apoyo y promoción del bienestar y el desarrollo de niños y niñas. Esta posición requerirá una sólida formación en psicología educativa y pedagogía, así como habilidades lingüísticas en inglés, español y alemán (alemán es un plus). La voluntaria será una pieza clave en la ejecución de programas y actividades diseñadas para mejorar la calidad de vida de los niños y contribuir al progreso de la comunidad

-Alguien con experiencia en SEGURIDAD de locaciones, para resguardar áreas vulnerables en nuestro terreno

-Mantenimiento en general con experiencia en construcción, bioconstrucción

Entre más aptitudes y habilidades en las áreas anteriores hay mayor posibilidad de formar parte de nuestro equipo de voluntarios. Independiente de tu rol habitual, podría darse el caso de que se te pida ayuda con alguna tarea diferente para poder ayudar a tus compañeros y cubrirles cuando sea necesario. Además a todos los voluntarios se les pide contribuir en tareas básicas de limpieza, separación de residuos y compostaje

Si cuentas con alguna habilidad o eres maestro de alguna disciplina que sea acorde a nuestros objetivos, apoyaremos si cuentas con una idea viable de negocio social propio mientras se hospeden con nosotros.

Son departamentos rústicos y austeros que cuentan únicamente con una cama, contamos con baños, duchas y cocina comunitaria, taller de arte, palapa, huerto, cine en la playa y terrazas con hermosa vista al mar para ver el amanecer y atardeceres de ensueño; contamos con energía solar y un área de co working. El agua es un recursos importante para nosotros por lo que pedimos cuidarla mucho.

We are located just 10 minutes from the city center and a few steps from the famous 5th avenue, which is the heart of Playa del Carmen where you can enjoy a cosmopolitan atmosphere. Nearby you can find shops, pharmacies, places to supply food, restaurants, bars, etc. Just 10 minutes walking you can reach an open cenote, in the area you can find other cenotes as well as theme parks such as Xcaret. To the south is 60 minutes from Tulum known for its famous archaeological zone and 60 kms. To the north, the city of Cancun and Isla Mujeres, famous for their beaches of the characteristic turquoise blue of the Caribbean Sea; to the east is Cozumel and therefore practically "Playa del Carmen" is considered the heart of the Riviera Maya.

Estamos ubicados a tan sólo 10 minutos del Centro de la ciudad y a unos pasos de la famosa 5ta avenida, que es el corazón de Playa del Carmen donde se disfruta de un ambiente cosmopolita. Muy cerca se pueden encontrar tiendas, farmacias, lugares para el abastecimiento de alimentos, restaurantes, bares, etc. A tan sólo 10 minutos caminando se puede llegar a un cenote abierto, en la zona se pueden encontrar otros cenotes así como parques temáticos como Xcaret. Hacia el Sur se encuentra a 60 minutos Tulum conocido por su famosa zona arqueológica y 60 kms. hacia el Norte la ciudad de Cancún e Isla Mujeres famosas por sus playas del característico azul turquesa del Mar Caribe; al este se encuentra Cozumel y por ello prácticamente "Playa del Carmen" es considerado el corazón de la Riviera Maya.
