These volunteer opportunities are available now:

Our meditation center is nestled behind Beacon Hill and sits on 20 acres of land located just 50 minutes from the Grand Canyon. It is adjacent to the Kaibab National Forest known for its aromatic Ponderosa Pine trees.
Our World Peace Temple retreat center hosts many programs throughout the year and appeals to a range of students and guests.
Our Workaway program is a great way to experience life at a Buddhist retreat center, learn about Buddhism & meditation, and put your compassion and love for others into action. In exchange for volunteering, Workawayers receive accommodation and three vegetarian meals a day.
Normally, Workaway opportunities last for a duration of one week. We are flexible with the days your stay starts and ends. If you wish to arrive on a Sunday we ask that you arrive before noon, if you arrive Monday - Friday we ask that you arrive before 4:30pm. There is the opportunity to stay for more than one week, however this depends on the amount of work we have available and how well the first week goes.
Unfortunately, are unable to accept Workawayers who have pets at this time, as accommodations are in male and female dorms.
Looking forward to hearing from you!Tipos de ajuda e oportunidades de aprendizado

Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado
We are an international retreat center and will be hosting a diverse group of volunteers, students and teachers from all around the world. There are innumerable ways people can benefit from a cultural exchange. Within our small group, we already represent well travelled people from all over the US and the world. We eat communal meals together and share stories and laughter. There are always opportunities to learn about meditation and all aspects of the Buddhist way of life from our experienced practitioners.
We look forward to welcoming workaway visitors from all areas. We hope to learn from their culture, we're always looking for new dishes to cook, and new skills to help with establishing our Center.Ajuda
The help at our center varies depending on season and types of projects – assisting with cleanup, light construction, accommodations preparation, office help, and light landscaping and gardening are examples. The winter time also involves snow shoveling.
Please pack and dress accordingly for help for the season that you wish to come. For example, snow boots and warm clothes and jackets are a must for the winter, and good work boots and hot weather clothing is beneficial for the summer time.Idiomas

Our meditation center is part of a large international spiritual community dedicated to achieving world peace through following the Buddhist path. We are a small community of residents, people who live on site, including ordained monks and nuns. Our community strives to exemplify Buddhist practice through public service in their daily lives.
We are located near Williams, AZ, know as the gateway to the Grand Canyon. There is easy driving access to many wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area such as Sedona and Antelope Canyon. Hiking trails are directly accessible from our property.Mais alguns detalhes

They’re hard dedicated workers, helped a LOT with landscaping, and anywhere else we needed a hand.
They are a joy to be around whether during working time or outside work hours. I very much look forward to their next visit.
