While it has been a while since I stayed with Lidwine and Roland, I still reminisce about my time with them in Hiesville. I had a great time to say the least! Great food and company, surrounded by lovely animals and getting to learn how to play drums, and probably the best sleep I've had in my life. Lidwine and Roland are truly a joy to spend time

We trusted Anna and Felix to do some house and pet sitting for 2 weeks while we were away and we did well. They are both very trustworthy, mature, and responsible. I knew I could leave with a peaceful mind. Alvin, our dog who stayed with them, was so happy to be pet and walked everyday. Anna and Felix also had to make sure the cows and donkeys had
… read more water and hay when needed and they've also found some time to paint a ceiling and do some other works in the house.

We've spent 3 weeks staying at Lidwine's&Rolands place taking care of the animals. The house is located in the French countryside with some interesting places around (Utah Beach,Bayeux, Caen,...), perfect to enjoy nature and calm down. In general, Lidwine&Roland are some very friendly, kind and caring people, we've made some great memories with. We really recommend a stay!

The area is very rural (and historical), so it's perfect if you wish to have peace and quiet. I absolutely loved to walk around in lush, magical paths in the nature, many options just outside the door.

Johanna is such a beautiful soul ! We enjoyed our discussions and she was of a great help in the house and outdoor.

It's been a real pleasure to have Meher with us for 3 weeks. We felt like she was family ! Meher is a brilliant and enthousiastic young woman. Very easy going, she's always smiling. Eric is a wonderful workawayer. Easy going, very independant, very qualified, and learned. He did some electricity works in the house. He's been of great help and full of good ideas ! We've been very lucky to have him as our very first workawayer. It's been a pleasure to host him and share with him.
