  We are a young couple from Southern Vietnam who moved to the North to start our camera rental service for travelers exploring the stunning Ha Giang Loop. The Ha Giang Loop is one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking motorbike routes, famous for its dramatic mountain landscapes, winding roads, and rich cultural diversity. We are currently running the business by the two of us with no employees and want to hire a workawayer with good English communication skills to work with foreign tourists.
  
  Our base is a small room inside a motorbike rental hotel located in Ha Giang City, which is the starting point of the Loop. Every morning between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, we’re at the hotel reception to offer advice and camera equipment rentals to international travelers heading out on the tour. In the afternoon, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, we assist returning customers with equipment check-ins.
  
  On days when all our gear is out with customers, we take the opportunity to explore the Loop ourselves or discover more of Ha Giang City and its hidden gems.
  
  The hotel staff is predominantly local, including many from Ha Giang and members of ethnic minority communities, as well as a few Vietnamese from other regions. We share a close and supportive working relationship with everyone here, which creates a friendly and welcoming environment.
  
  As a Workawayer at our place, you'll be provided with a base salary of 8 million Vietnamese Dong, a private room with en-suite bathroom in the hotel, fully equipped with basic amenities, a personal laptop, access to our equipment for personal creative projects such as vlogging, and opportunities to travel and work with us as we expand to other locations. For long-term contributors, we may support travel costs so you can combine work and adventure. In addition to all of that, you'll also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in local Vietnamese culture, connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and possibly join local tours to experience the magic of the Ha Giang Loop firsthand.

  Ajuda

  We are looking for Workawayers who are open to building a long-term connection, ideally staying for several months or even longer. While prior experience with camera equipment is not required, we highly value individuals with good English communication skills and a friendly, proactive attitude when interacting with travelers.
  
  Your main tasks will include:
  
  - Advising tourists on suitable camera equipment for their trip
  - Explaining how to use the gear (basic instructions – we will train you)
  - Preparing rental contracts
  - Checking the condition of equipment before and after rentals
  - Performing light maintenance and helping manage the gear inventory
  
  We work closely as a team and are happy to share knowledge and help you become confident with the equipment.
  
  In return for your support, we offer:
  
  - A base salary of 8 million Vietnamese Dong.
  - Free accommodation as a private, fully equipped room in a hotel where we are based.
  - A personal laptop and access to our equipment for personal creative projects such as vlogging, as long as it is not in use by customers.
  - Opportunities to travel and work with us as we expand to other locations such as Sapa or potentially back to our southern base. For long-term contributors, we may support travel costs so you can combine work and adventure.
  
  If you have skills in media creation, social media marketing, or content production, that's a huge plus — but not a requirement. We’re excited to find motivated individuals who want to grow with us and enjoy the unique experience of life along the Ha Giang Loop.

There are many affordable local eateries where you can enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, as well as cafes and food courts in the shopping center just a short walk away. We’re happy to recommend our favorite spots so you can truly experience the flavors of Ha Giang.
  
  This setup allows for both comfort and independence while you immerse yourself in life in northern Vietnam.

  Our setup is well-suited for digital nomads who want to balance part-time work with personal projects or remote jobs. The hotel provides a stable working environment with reliable Wi-Fi, and your private room can also serve as a quiet workspace during off-hours. Our work schedule is generally light and flexible: Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM to greet and support departing customers Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM for equipment check-ins This leaves you with ample free time during the day for remote work, creative projects, or exploring the area. We are happy to coordinate tasks around your availability as long as the key time slots are covered and responsibilities are fulfilled.
