We are doing changes at our small family home on our own island in the lagoon of Grado between Venice and Triest. The house is right on the sea but just 200m from the mainland in a natural habitat and Unesco heritage site.
I am a 62 year old entrepreneur who has taken time off to execute this project with his own hands together with help (professional and non-professional ) but in the mindset of tasks and pleasure with good humour and patience...

Next to exploring the natural habitat of the lagoon with 180 species of birds, living close to nature, the nearby village of Aquilea boasts extensive Roman ruins having been one of the biggest cities in the Roman empire. I own a parcel of land of 7000 square meters on the mainland just opposite the island whare a campervan or motorhome can be placed with a beautiful view. Also camping grounds are available with all infrastructure required and a beach just 500m away.

Yes if he is behaved. I own an Australian Shepherd dog which gets along very well with other pets and we have two cats on the island which can barely be seen ever and keep their distance to take care that no mouse population grows...
