  We are making an art community in the nature reserve in Sian Ka’an. This is a special place with our own private beach in the middle of the wild nature that surrounds us. It’s a nice place to enjoy the soft sounds of local birds and the calm lapping of the sea. Experince include visiting local Mayan ruins while enjoying fresh coconuts that are harvested from our property as much as fresh seafood. I'm an professional artist working on projects both locally and abroad and I'm happy to share my talents as much as potentially offer inclusion in upcoming projects. Working here you will mainly be assisting them while also sharing your individual talents whatever they may be. We have three local employees who are in charge of cleaning and maintaining the place.

  I am a professional sculptor and I am creating models and prototypes in my personal workshop and subsequently building works of monumental art in different public spaces. I propose to share my experience and artistic knowledge while volunteers help me in the design and construction of the works of art

  Volunteers do not need to have artistic skills, they only require will, participation and desire to create.

  Acomodação

  Shared dormitory for volunteers with private bathroom. We shop for food weekly and we all organize together to cook and wash the dishes. If any volunteer has a special diet, they must notify before doing the weekly shopping. We have 3 meals a day and the kitchen is permanently active.

  On your time off you are welcome to travel to Tulum or local town called Punta Allen if transportation is coordinated with our driver. This is a really remote place so be prepared for a rustic experience with basic amenities. There is almost always a constant wind so mosquitos are infrequent but best to be prepared. Same thing goes with sunscreen if necessary. There is no cell service but we do have WiFi. There is no cable nor television. Everyone needs to be respectful to both the place as much as the people here and to not have any illicit behaviors. Drinking is allowed but only in moderation. Again, the most important is to be respectful.

  We have limited internet service which we are working on expanding. Any help in this is welcome.

  Espaço para estacionar campervans

  Small campers/motorhomes are welcome. The road coming in is pretty rough so anything overly large would have a difficult time arriving anyways. Please inform us of your vehicle if you are bringing such.
