Staying at Günter’s was one of my most relaxed and precious Workaway experiences…an easy switch between cooking for us, doing some chores around the house, a little bit of gardening and even lending the occasional helping hand in the carpentry 🔨🤩
Not only does Günter have an open house, where people come&go and feel at home easily but, most of all, he has an open, gentle heart, which makes him one of a kind.

It was a great pleasure to host Dominik. He is an absolutely well educated person who respects everybody around him. I enjoyed sharing my life experiences with him. We had a lot of inspiring conversations. He is a very exceptional person in a positive way. A person who allows you to grow.
He is 110% reliable. Work seems to be a pleasure for him.
… read more Unfortunately sometimes I didn't have enough time to instruct him too well on his work but even then he did complete his work with success. I can absolutely recommend him. He will always be welcome and I would host him anytime again.
He is an enrichment for anybody. I am grateful that I got to know him!

Meet Günter, the multitalented man who is about to complete his hard-earned estate and has maintained a youthful vigor that is energizing to those around. I had the pleasure to share more than seven weeks with him, staying in a comfortable, clean and cozy tiny house by myself, before the wanderlust got ahold of me again.

… read more a garden in the making and a carpentry running, tasks are as plentiful as they are diverse. I enjoyed restoring the main gate and painting walls as much as planting and caring for the greenery. The best learning experiences were artisanal projects such as building a rotary clothes dryer and accompanying the host on assembly jobs at the clients' places. Günter has a great deal to teach given his decades of experience in the craft.
Speaking of the host: a jack of all trades with positivity and a zest for life, an affectionate and embracing heart, an industrious and knowledgeable mind - these are just some attributes that make Günter a unique, inspiring character and a privilege to spend time with. Our meaningful conversations will linger with me, and so will the carefree and joyful moments we had.

Gunter is a really nice guy who always looks for work which he thinks you would like to do and makes you feel good even though you have not put in the required hours. We have also worked together on various different projects and have made the place a better one. Even though he is a busy man he always tries to give attention to you and helps in
