Tatyana was a good worker who got to grasps with everything quickly. Friendly, fun and independent she transitioned smoothly into her position and enjoyed her stay. She loved the animals and was heroic when her wisdom teeth swelled up . A good addition for any host. We really enjoyed and appreciated her hard work and happy nature.

Lena came at a very difficult time with a very heavy lockdown and coped superbly. She was able to step into the routine on the farm and was independent and conscientious. I stayed with Jay and Diana and all the lovely animals during first lockdown due to the Coronavirus situation, so for two and a half months.. what to say about this.. I think it was perfect and I wouldn’t want to be with any other Workaway!

The animals are lovely and I really miss them, I didn’t think that I could get that attached to pigs but here I am.. still remembering the names and I am sure I would still recognise them :) I was not surprised how every animal on the finca is in love with Jay, he really cares for them and gives them a lot of attention. It was very nice that I could use Betty, the car, not only to do the groceries but also to have little tours on the island.
Sometimes we had dinner together and here is a little tip for you: if you got offered some soup, try it! It’s super yummie! The ducks lay plenty of eggs and the banana trees were full of bananas when I was there so my breakfast was always very healthy and rich :)

Jack and suzee were a very amiable and happy couple. Up early to complete their tasks made life easy their stay here was very helpful. They like to talk and joke and were clean and respecrtul. Perfect guests. Always welcome back.

We had an amazing time on the farm getting to know Jay and the 34 animals! Jay was so welcoming right from the start. He taught us about farm life, animals, and how to grow many different plants in a super dry climate.
