Located just 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from town by taxi, our serene hilltop property offers a unique chance to contribute to something truly special.

  Trustworthy and Honest Individuals: Reliability is key as you'll be working closely with our property owner, Miyoko, and her 10 rescued dogs.
  
  Animal Lovers: A genuine affection for dogs is essential. These wonderful animals are an integral part of our project :)
  
  Skilled Volunteers: Whether you have trades skills, creative ideas, or just a good work ethic, we want to hear from you! We will have local tradespeople on site for any large work being done *

  We’re open to a variety of skills and talents to help bring our holistic eco project to life!
  Here’s a breakdown of the kinds of assistance thats helpful -
  
  Carpentry: If you have experience with woodworking, we’d love your help. This could include anything from creating custom furniture to maintaining and enhancing our indoor/ outdoor spaces.
  
  Masonry: people that can assist with stonework, bricklaying, creative work and other masonry tasks that contribute to the functionality and beauty of our property. This is more for artistic purposes rather than structural.
  
  Landscaping/Gardening: Help us improve and maintain our garden, let's create sustainable landscaping solutions! Your green thumb can help our environment flourish! We look forward to hearing your ideas. Lots of space!
  
  *Animal Care: Support our mission to care for Miyoko’s 10 rescued dogs. Responsibilities may include feeding, cooking, grooming, exercising, general animal care and minor medical treatment for elder dog.
  They are friendly, very cute, and curious of new faces.
  
  Art (Murals): If you’re an artist, we’d love to see your work and watch your creative vision come to life on our walls! Murals and other artistic contributions can enhance the ambiance and aesthetic of the property, please apply only with a portfolio.
  
  Trades: We welcome all tradespeople. We have hired local tradespeople for all required jobs, but we are open to all skillsets. Your skills will help with various projects around the property.
  
  General Help: Even if you don’t fit into one of these categories but have a good work ethic and a willingness to contribute, we encourage you to apply. Your enthusiasm, vision, and energy can be incredibly valuable.

  We provide a very safe, clean and welcoming living space with access to an open rooftop overlooking Montego Bay, designed to enhance your volunteer experience*. Here’s what you can expect from your accommodation:
  
  **We would be highly appreciated your kind consciousness and cooperation to save electricity energy and water during your volunteer stay.
  
  Single or double Size Bed furnished space with common/share facilities.
  
  Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on a cozy bed, ensuring you’re well-rested and ready for each day’s activities. Sorry if dogs bark in the night and wakes you up.
  
  The room is maintained and offering a clean and serene environment for your stay.
  * Due to maintenance purpose, Host and her workman has the rights to enter to share space as well as to your occupied room with notice.
  
  Share Bathroom/Shower, Kitchennet space with convenience.
  
  share Kitchennet with fridge : You’ll have access to our kitchennet and share fridge locates on the second floor where you can prepare your light meals but not oily or fried cooking.Please.
  
  Balcony: Relax and unwind on a spacious balcony that offers a great private spot to enjoy the beautiful Jamaican weather, read a book, breath, or take in the views of the surrounding area.
  
  Second-Level Location: offering added privacy and a beautiful 360 view of Montego Bay.

  Connection with Miyoko: My wife and her family are long-time friends with Miyoko, and we have a special connection with her. They are originally from Japan, a rich historical and cultural bond exists between Jamaica and Japan.
  
  Miyoko’s Role: Miyoko is not only a dedicated dog mom and the tourism representative but also a highly respected figure in both Jamaica and Japan. Her unique position and reputation make her an invaluable guide and resource during your stay.
  
  Cultural and Historical Context -
  
  Jamaica and Japan Connection: Jamaica has a deep-rooted history with Japan specially the tourism which is reflected in Miyoko’s role and the respectful ties between the two countries. This connection adds a special dimension to your experience.
  
  Expectations and Etiquette -
  
  Respect and Kindness: We value respect and kindness in all interactions. It is crucial to honor the land, its people, and our practices. Any form of rudeness or disrespect is not tolerated. Dress code may apply on TPO.

  Mature mind volunteer/volunteer couple who is/are age over 25years to 35 years old prefered.
  
  Sorry but strictly Smoker / smoking and heavy liquor drinker of workawayer/s would NOT be accepted.
  
  In order to take care the numerous dogs, you are required as fit and in good health condition individual in physically, mentally and spiritually.
  please inform to us if you have a chronic illness which interfere to volunteer work you are interested in.
  
  
  Clothes that expose skin and emphasize the body to wear is strictly prohibited and unacceptable during a term of your volunteer activity specially in the property as well as in the community.
  
  General rules and regulations of the program and the property will be informed prior to arrival.
  
  Due to build a comfortable and safety in mutual parties, Once workawayer have decided to volunteer for us in Montego Bay,Jamaica, Presentation of Your photo ID with 3 references with their name, address and contact from your country except your family members will be required is very important prior to upon arrival.
