  Hi all, we are Carly and Nico, a Dutchie and Chilean couple who live on this beautiful piece of land. Nico's a nature lover. He loves to grow plants, veggies and fruits and loves being outside. Carly is a former business consultant who ended up in Chile for love and looking for a more natural environment to live in.
  
  We've recently moved in to our beautiful home, La Casazul, which is a dream coming true for the both of us. It is located near Santiago (45 minutes0, with an incredible view on the valley and a refreshing breeze. It's pretty secluded, you'll only hear the birds and sometimes the 17 horses that walk freely on the land. We have some lemon and orange trees.
  
  The house and land needs a lot of tender love and care. We need help with extending the veggie garden, cleaning the area outside, doing some landscaping, planting veggies and trees, construction and painting to make this place bloom again.
  
  All in all, it's absolutely breathtaking to be here. We have beautiful sunsets every night, it can be super hot at noon but it always cools off at night which is lovely. People in the area are nice. There are some small shops, the bigger ones are a bit further away. We have acces to one car but be aware that the place is quite secluded. There is public transportation and taxis in the area tho.

  We speak multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French and Dutch. We're happy to practice with you! We also love to learn more about your kitchen and share our own of course. All in all, we love different cultures and learning from people, so please be welcome.

  Ajuda

  We need help with cleaning and organizing the area outside, planting, painting, building a chicken coop and any other stuff to make this place blooming again. We have a preference for people that have some experience with building and/or construction. Someone who has a vision and can inspire us what to do with the house. Being able to work independently is also important for us.

  Acomodação

  We have two bedrooms available with a shared bathroom. One bedroom has two separate beds and the other one is a queen size bed. The rooms are not the fanciest, but the beds are really good and I always take care of clean sheets:) there's rooms for clothes too of course.
  
  We are happy to provide ingredients for breakfeast and lunch and to provide dinner and basics such as sugar, flower, sunflower oil, cooking spices, etc. Unfortunately, I cannot take too much into account gluten free, lactose free or other kind of diets. Meat is also in our diet!

  - We live in a pretty secluded area. Please make sure to have datos/mb/signal on your phone when you are heading our way in case you come by bus. This way we know when to pick you up.
  
  - According to Workaway rules, we are happy to provide food and housing in return for 4-5 hours work during the week.This includes ingredients for breakfast & lunch, and home-made dinner. During the weekend (or during the week if you decide to take a day off), we kindly ask you to take care of your own food. This means also thinking about what you’ll have for breakfast, lunch and dinner, make a list and make sure to ask Carly on time to come with to the grocery store or buy in advance.
  
  - On rest days you can visit some of the wineries on half an hour drive.
  
  - When living with us, you are also part of the household. So apart from the hours worked, we expect you to help with dishes. We take turns in doing them:)
