Lluc stayed with us for about 4 weeks in the beginning of the summer season 2025. He was always eager to help out with whatever task was needed to be done - everything from painting walls to steering our small safety boat when needed for the kayak groups of a significant size. Lluc likes to keep a high standard in his work, is happy to learn new skills and in addition to this a very proper and energetic person with a big smile on his face.

I stayed with Jane and Michael for about one month at first of the summer season, and it was a truly enriching experience. The area is stunning — surrounded by fjords, waterfalls, and mountains — and being immersed in such raw nature every day felt like a dream.
During my stay, I helped with various tasks including kayak tours (driving the rescue
… read more boat or assisting from shore), preparing breakfast for guests, housekeeping, small maintenance jobs. The work was diverse and rewarding, and I appreciated the trust and autonomy I was given. I also had the chance to learn new skills and enjoy kayaking in an incredible setting.
Jane and Michael are generous and welcoming hosts, always ready to share their knowledge and make sure volunteers feel comfortable and included. I stayed in a cozy shared accommodation with other volunteers, and we quickly became a small family.
This Workaway is perfect for people who love the outdoors, are flexible, and enjoy both teamwork and independent tasks. I left with unforgettable memories, new friends, and the strong feeling that I’ll return someday.

I stayed with Micheal and Jane in the Fjords for about a month, and it was a splendid experience. It was an amazing opportunity to improve my kayaking skills, as I started with only a little bit of experience and by the end felt very comfortable taking tours all by myself. It was my first time in Norway, and it was a great way of seeing places
… read more many tourists would not often get to see. I was provided with a place to stay shared with other very friendly workawayers, but had enough of my own private space. Unfortunately although it was around peak season, due to the weather there was a bit less working opportunity than I had anticipated, but that due to factors out of the hosts control. Micheal let me borrow one of his bicycles, which gave me the freedom to explore the beautiful area surrounding the house, including climbing up the mountain and seeing gorgeous waterfalls. Overall grateful for the experience, and would recommend to anyone that wants to learn more about kayaking and see the beautiful Fjords. We got in contact with Ram via WA, and he just stayed with us in Eidfjord, Norway, for for a couple of weeks .
Ram is very pleasant to be around, and very fast to take directions and advice on tasks he is asked to help out with.
He has a great and positive attitude towards all sorts of different work he can help out with, always doing it with a

I stayed about fifteen days at Michael and Jane´s place and it was a pleasure ! The area is beatiful and I enjoyed all the activities I discovered there ! I helped kayak tours by being in a small motorboat and learned other things about DIY and gardening. I also had time to discover the region, hiking or biking.
