Hey nice and interested people out there,
We would like to share some moments with you in the astonishing nature of the Southern Blackforest. My name is Simon, I am arround thirty, a social worker and together with my brother, a agriculture scientist we ran together two small farms in the biosphere reserve, a type of National Park, at 1000 meters high.
Our work is based on the care and preservation of the meadows to support the biodiversity of rare plants. For these reasons we work with arround 20 goats and highland cattle .
Furthermore we are also taking care of some horses, doing gardening, working in the forest or restoring our old typical farms.
You would live together with me and my partner Vivian, a psychologist at one of the farms. There will be a place in a guest room or our tiny house.
It would be important for us, that you are a person who likes hard manual labour in the nature and who is also happy to spend time alone. There will be times to work together, times where you will be by yourself, times on the other farm of my family and times on the farm of a close friend in the neighborhood.

Our daily work includes things like building fences, making firewood and bringing animals from one meadow to another. In general, we always appreciate help and besides the things we have to do, we are open for your ideas.

I work halftime in a city from where you can go by train to Freiburg, Basel in Switzerland or to France. But also the area arround our village is absolutly worthfit to see.
