I've stayed with Toni for 2 weeks in January 2025 and I really enjoyed having that base in the beginning of my trip to Italy. I loved the daily routines and structure, we usually worked a few hours in the mornings and sometimes in the afternoons as well. Even though my Italian is super basic and Toni and I couldn't always communicate clearly and

We've been to his friends often in the afternoons & evenings, so it was nice to have that social life as well and to get to know a few people.
At the end of the day though, the situation was very much that an attractive younger woman shared a living space with an older single man for 2 weeks. I was very aware of this before my stay and still I hoped that it could just be cool and without any annoying stuff happening. For me that happened very much at the end though. The more we were visiting his friends the more I had the feeling that he would bring up the topic that he would love to have a partner. And eventually I felt that I've been pulled into this conversation, especially at the last day with his friends that we visited close to Lecce (also older men). At the end I insisted that I would stay at a hostel in Lecce because I didn't want to stay with them or spend time with them any longer and I know very well that they would have enjoyed more of the company of a young woman. That part really tainted the entire experience for me and I just wished it could have had a different ending. Of course I didn't tell Toni any of that and already know what kind of reactions follow. I still wanted to share it here in public because I'm sure it's a common phenomenon in the scene.
Still I'm thankful for the time.

I spent one week and three days at Toni's and it was an experience!
Toni is a guy with his heart in the right place, lovely and very amiable person with many friends.
The work is very hard, if you're not used to it, but I really liked it. I also LOVED the organic food...fresh fruit directly from the tree and very tasty vegetables.

If you are a person who is used to a very clean home, don't be shocked: it is not very clean but you'll get used to it...
I think there is no better way to experience life in the Italian countryside! The people are warm-hearted, social and friendly, happy to share their beautiful culture with a person from abroad. I will definitely come back next year.
Thanks, Toni!

Me and my boyfriend spent less than a week at Tony's. What we were looking for was a place where to eat healthy self product veggies and fruits, leaving far from distractions, noises, and where to experiment a unique and simple life..
Here I guess not everyone would accept this kind of living unfortunatly, but we could definetely suggest to

This is a perfect place for everyone who wants to discover the simple life in the south of Italy. The work is hard, the food is simple but good because it is grown in the own garden. You will learn to enjoy what you have. Toni is a quite guy with a lot of contacts and friends.
