  Hello! I'm a 33 years old U.S. and Turkish citizen who recently bought a lovely 0.5-acre property in Datça, Turkey. The farm has a cozy house on it, and I'm creating a peaceful, nature-focused space where I can spend a few months each year relaxing, working on small projects, and enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle.
  
  Datça is a truly special place—famous for its beautiful turquoise waters, stunning sunsets, crystal-clear beaches, and amazing kite surfing spots. Nestled between the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, it has a unique charm influenced by both Turkish and Greek cultures. Life here moves at a slower, more soulful pace, and that's exactly the energy I want to cultivate on this land.

  Staying here in Datça isn’t just about helping out—it’s about sharing experiences, stories, and perspectives. I’d love to create a space where we can learn from each other, enjoy good conversations, and exchange ideas about life, culture, and creativity.
  
  We can cook meals together, go for hikes, take dips in the sea, or relax watching the sunset with a glass of wine or Turkish tea. If you're into kitesurfing or want to try it, Datça has great spots and a growing local scene. I’d also be happy to introduce you to neighbors and friends in the area (Not many friends yet as I just bought the place :), some of whom are a mix of locals and expats from different parts of the world.
  
  I can share what I know about starting a slower, more intentional lifestyle, property management, remote working, and navigating life as an expat. I’m also curious to learn more about your life, your skills, your traditions—whether it’s how you cook, how you see the world, or even how you relax.
  
  This is meant to be a mutual exchange, not just work. My hope is that everyone who comes here leaves with new inspiration, calm memories, and maybe even a friendship.

  I'm looking for a Workawayer to help with light tasks around the property—this could include gardening, harvesting, basic maintenance, painting, helping with a small vegetable patch, creative outdoor projects, or even taking care of a puppy (I'm planning to get one soon!), and BABY GOATS :) I will have them soon as well
  
  You'll have your own comfortable space to stay, access to the kitchen, and plenty of free fruits (from farm), coffee, chicken eggs (soon in farm :) and free time to explore the stunning surroundings of Datça. I’m happy to share meals, culture, and stories—this is a relaxed and easygoing environment.
  
  If you're someone who enjoys nature, quiet days, and contributing to a meaningful little retreat, I’d love to hear from you!

  You'll be staying in a cozy private room inside the main house or in a separate guest space, depending on availability. The house is clean, comfortable, and secure—perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun or spending quiet mornings with a book and coffee.
  
  The property is surrounded by olive, pomagranede, orange, mandalinas, figs, plums, and moreee :)) open sky, and beautiful views. It’s peaceful, simple, and a great place to unplug or focus on your own creative projects during your free time.
  
  We’ll share meals most days—I enjoy cooking and would love to try your favorite recipes too! I usually eat fresh, healthy food inspired by both Mediterranean and Aegean traditions. If you’re vegetarian or have any dietary preferences, I’m happy to accommodate.
  
  There’s a shared kitchen available for you to use anytime, and you’ll always have access to clean drinking water, basic supplies, and internet.
  
  You’ll be part of a laid-back, respectful household where we value both togetherness and personal space.

  This is a great spot if you're a digital nomad looking to balance meaningful offline work with your remote job or creative projects. The house has reliable Wi-Fi, and you’re welcome to work from your room, the shaded patio, or anywhere on the property that inspires you. There are plenty of quiet spots for calls, writing, or deep focus. I understand the importance of having uninterrupted time for your online work, so I’m flexible with the help schedule. We can work together to find a rhythm that fits both your remote job and the tasks around the property—whether that’s a few hours in the morning or spreading tasks out across the week. If you're looking for a calm, scenic place to stay productive while also reconnecting with nature and contributing to a passion project, you’ll feel right at home here.

  I’m an animal lover and plan to have a puppy here soon, so friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome—especially if they get along with other animals and are comfortable in a quiet, natural environment. I don't know how it happened but I ended up having 5-6 stray cats ( : I guess they are part of the farm now (3 kittens). No animals inside of the house, all is outside. The property is spacious and semi-fenced, with plenty of room for pets to roam (under supervision), but it’s important that your pet is trained and stays close to the home. Please let me know in advance what kind of pet you'd like to bring so we can make sure it’s a good fit for both sides. If you're traveling with a dog who enjoys the outdoors and is good with other animals, they'll probably love it here!
