  We see this as a good opportunity for our kids to learn english. Therefore we want someone how can talk to them and play whit them. We also want help in the household, to clean and cook.
  During the summer we have a barn to renovate. We therefore need help from someone who can build and paint.

  Gotland is a magical island on the East coast of Sweden in the middle of the Baltic sea. From Stockholm you can easily reach it in 5 hours by taking the ferry to Gotland. The journey in itself is worth the travel a summer day when you enjoy the sun and the sea on the deck. You will arrive at the port of Visby, the best preserved medieval city in all of Scandinavia with it´s 200 medieval buildings encircled by a beautiful 4 km long “ring wall”.
  
  This is the ultimate vacation destination i Sweden where you can enjoy all the benefits of a summer city without feeling you ended up in a tourist trap -since this is actually where people from Sweden and especially the citizens of Stockholm spend their summer.
  
  Enjoy all the happenings and festivals, for example the Medieval week in Aug 2-9 when the whole city dresses up in costumes, and takes a travel back in time. There will be markets and music, theater and knights clash in tournaments. -There is always something happening in Visby in the summertime, festivals, concerts and parties.
  
  Visby has a a dramatic history, being an important center of merchandise, it was a battlefield for Danes, Swedes, German, Russians and Pirates. Gotland being an isolated island was also badly hurt by the plague. Perhaps when you are here you will find the serene surroundings familiar from old Swedish films -this was Ingmar Bergman's favorite location, and where he also lived permanently his last 30 years. If you are a fan of Pippi Longstocking, and watched all the films made about her in the 60's, you should take the opportunity and visit the original set, Pippi's house here in Gotland, 20 min with bus from Visby.
  
  After you enjoyed Visby it's time for the green and beautiful countryside around the island, go to the beach, eat well at small personal family restaurants by the side of the road. You have to visit Kutens Bensin known as the best Gas station and Rock n´ roll club in the world, drink beer, listen to Elvis, and mingle with biker's, rocker's and local farmer's. Kutens Bensin is located on the small island Fårö, with it's astonishing stone beaches and wild nature. Also don't forget to visit some of the medieval churches all around Gotland and the well preserved fishing villages that have been used for hundred's of years.
