Bonjour tout le monde, / Hello everybody,
It's just me, British female with 3 very friendly cats - I have chosen to live in the Creuse in a busy farming commune. I love it here, I have previously been a landlady of 20 years in the UK before coming and living as a full time resident in France, still keeping in contact with tenants from years ago.
I prefer to be outside or socialising with new friends rather than fixing a leaking toilet. I will include you in my social life and trips to the shops.
I have nearly finished my renovation project house and now, I am looking for help in my small garden first and foremost as aches and pains are against me. and painting my garden furniture which will be a lot of fun.
The majority of people I've had here as workaway, arrive and then say they don't like cats. If that's the case.....you'll be asked to leave promptly.
There is never a dull moment in my life...I look forward to welcoming You soon as my guest.

They will definitely be speaking english in the house, but they are surrounded by french people in my village.
The area where I live, is very good for looking at the sky at night as is clear and fantastic & you can see the milky-wey

You have your own shower en-suite double bedroom with towels, everything you need after a hard days work, overlooking the garden.
You will share my food, I am a meat eater. I eat vegetables in season.
If You would rather prefer to bring your own food, you can work less hours.

There is a local bus but, having a car is better to get around. I have a car and I am also out-and-about most days, local villages with shops, local attractions nearby, Many lakes for fishing, Limoges is an hour away with it's street life vibe. Paris is a 3 hour train journey so do-able in a day - I'll definitely go with you.
If you come in your campervan, this will be parked in the village car park as I don't have space next to my house - sorry!

Left to his own devices, Robbert is very creative with his own design ideas in the garden and hard working until the job is done and that goes for jobs completed inside my house too. He is extremely neat.

To be fair, it took a few days to adjust to each other, but, then I had no problem with Kylee.
She was quite conscientious in her painting jobs around my house and ended up sanding my stairs....brilliant
I entertained Kylee and we visited a few places, we also attended my village meal which everyone enjoyed.
