Julian and Helen were lovely host: kind, flexible and helpful. The house is cozy and the farm is very quiet, with pleasant lawns and animals. Without a car it is an isolated place, without access to public transport. But Julian and Helen were very willing to drive me. … read more skills and the fact that it has almost rained. I was really happy to work as a graphic designer. I really appreciated their flexibility, good food and excellent evening chats with a glass of wine. Lovely to have Gaia stay and help us with a variety of tasks for a week. Enjoyed sharing good food and conversation and finding out more about Italy. Great to get the vege garden ready for winter plantings and given the weather was often wet, indoor jobs - like her help with graphic design and Gaia's creative flair was much appreciated

We had a really nice stay at Helen and Julian, with many long dinners, nice talks and excellent food!
The work was fun but strict: Helen ruled with an iron fist!
They were kind and took us to several scenic places, like the rain forest and Johanna Beach. But we were always very tired from the days work... We stayed there from Monday to Monday but

Liv had a difficult experience having to disrupt hatching birds by having to weed the blackberrys out of the very same busch that they had their nest in. But except that, we had a good time with Helen and Julian.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Over all experience is very good. The following is all the details I can remember so that u can get your expectations right before you arrive.
* Intro
The place consist of farm, animals that are treated as pets and cottage for guests.
Main business is offering cottages to guests and let them interact with animals.
* Roles and

Most of my work involved oil painting windows and help cleaning different things (cottage, chicken house, sheep sleeping area, ...).
There wasn't much interaction with animals but I coukd freely play with them after working hours .
* Working hours
Mostly 5 hours a day, usually start at 9am.
Work doesn't stop on Sunday and Saturday.
I didn't get off days during my 5 days stay but you would probably get if you stay longer.
* Accommodation
Its was really lovely. U either stay with them in the house or in one of the cottage if low season. Either way u will love the comfy bed and spectacular view.
* Food and drink
Helen really care about healthy food so you get to enjoy a delicious yet healthy food. A good wine is usually present as well as beer during dinner.
You can also help yourself, especially in breakfast.
Fruits were always present for quick healthy snack.
* About Hosts
Helen and Julain have good personality and treated me well.
They like to chat and u can learn a lot about the city / country from them during dinner time.
When it comes to work Julian is slightly more laid back but both of them has treated me with respect the whole time.
They were also kind enough to offer pick me up during my ocean walk to refule and take some rest
* Final thoughts
Work itself wasn't very special but the great accommodation, good food, lovely animals among other things made it absolutly worth it.Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.
