  We are a couple living near Kappeln in Northern Germany. We have an beautiful old farmhouse with a big garden of two hectares and a natural swimming pond, really a little paradise. Kappeln is a nice old town, nearby are two gorgeous beaches, you can reach them by bus or bike.
  
  We are always working on different projects to maintain and improve our home and garden. My husband Falk is 70 years old and works as a Personal Coach, my name is Susanne, I am 65 years old and worked as a teacher for German and Latin. We both speak English, my husband French too. And we have a friendly dog named Rune, he is just one year old.

  In exchange for your help (5 hours a day, 5 days a week) , we provide a comfortable room, WLAN, your own bathroom , 3 meals a day and a warm welcoming family atmosphere.
  As a former teacher I can help you to improve your German.
  My husband Falk can help you discovering your life goals and learning how to achive them, because he is a life coach. You will learn something about permaculture and organic and ecological gardening, because he is also a permaculture consultant and we live off our own garden.
  Because my father-in-law was an artist and philosopher and we inherited his large body of work, there are numerous sculptures on the property and pictures in our home, leading to many discussions about art and its meaning for humans and society.
  We love to share cultural experience and will show you around our beautiful area.

  Ajuda

  We are looking for motivated volunteers who enjoy working with their hands. Your help will include a mix of gardening and general maintenance around the house. Since we always have smaller renovation going on, we would especially like to welcome people with some handicraft or DIY skills .

  I was a teacher for German and Latin and can therefore give you German lessons. I would also like to improve my English and French and like to know other languages.

  You will have your own comfortable room, your own bathroom and WLAN. During the summer, you can also live in our small caravan if you prefer.

  We have a big family, so that sometimes we will have some children visiting us.
  We are quite busy ourselves, so you need to be independent and able to spend your free time without us.
  Maybe you‘d like to stay longer than a week? We can decide that together once we get to know each other.
  If you are traveling with a friend, we can also host two Workawayers - there ist enough space and enough work.
