  Hi, I'm 10dread, the founder of the Rîpa lu' Matei (Matthew's ravine) project, a small permaculture project in a beautiful and small village called Cornet, located in Bacău County, in the eastern part of Romania.
  
  The seed of this dream was planted in 2016 after a conversation with one of the founders of another permaculture hub called Baza Ulmu in Northern Romania.
  
  When I first heard about the concept of permaculture, I was skeptical, but after a lot of research, I simply fell in love with all the simple magic behind it.
  
  My permaculture adventure started in 2022, and my project consists of 5 small buildings: one aboveground cellar and 4 small houses using hyperadobe techniques. Additionally, I am building a garden with 6 hugelkultur rows, ranging in length between 40 and 60 meters.
  
  So, if you want to learn about building natural homes, how to make cob walls, cordwood floors, green roofs, about hugelkultur or humanure, you are more than welcome here.
  
  We are a family of 3 humans, 10 dogs, 2 cats, 18 chicken and 3 ducks. Would love to get as much cultural exchange as we can.
  
  I will provide you with food and showers, and I can accommodate helpers 2 helpers in two rooms, few in a hay barn and there is also plenty of space where you can set up your tent, I can provide tents if needed. Rîpa lu' Matei is a 8000 square meter property, newly fenced and the dogs offer great protection; it is as safe as it can be.

  The location of 'Rîpa lu' Matei' (Matthew's Ravine) is in a small village called Cornet, in Bacau County in eastern part of Romania. The access to the site is quite easy, there are shuttle every half an hour from 8am till 5pm. There is a forest near by. After work there are board games, film projections and music.
