Welcome to Borsö – a private peninsula near Trosa and only 1h from Stockholm, surrounded by sea, forest, and open space. It’s a quiet, beautiful place to slow down and enjoy nature.

I live here with my two Silken Windsprites, Kiwi and Deenah – gentle dogs who roam freely on the peninsula yet always stay close. Kiwi has a litter of puppies in August.Once they are a bit bigger they will spend the days in a large outdoor enclosure and come inside in the evenings.

Trosa has a lively little harbor with cafés and markets, and it’s only 15 minutes away by car. You’ll have space and time to connect with nature, reflect, and enjoy a slower rhythm. If you’re curious about a more off-grid, animal-centered lifestyle, you’ll get a glimpse of how it works, from managing land and dogs to preparing for horses and living close to nature.
Then again, Stockholm is only 1h by car and has everything you could wish for!

  • Ajuda

    Ajuda

In September, I’ll be working in Stockholm and also traveling, so I’m looking for someone to dogsit – caring for the dogs and puppies, feeding them, and making sure they’re safe and happy. When I’m home, I may also ask for help clearing forest paths, doing fencing, and preparing the area for horses arriving later this year.

  • Acomodação

    Acomodação

You’ll stay in your own classic Swedish wooden house (red with white trim), fully equipped & furnished and have access to a car.
A driving license is required, as there’s no public transport all the way to the property!
When there, I live in another house just opposite and I have a tenant that lives in another house nearby. You will have access to a boathouse, kajaks, a sauna etc etc.
Food, we can eat together when I am there. I am grateful if you also cook sometimes so we can exchange recipes and I also get to try different food.

  • Algo mais...

    Algo mais...

On your time off, you can swim in the Sea, bathe sauna, go fishing or kajaking, take walks through the forest, read in the hammock, or just enjoy the peace and quiet. With the car, you can easily get to Trosa (15 min), which has cafés, shops, a harbor, and nice places to explore. Stockholm is about an hour away by car.

I appreciate calm, self-reliant people who are respectful of space and animals. No smoking inside, and no parties – this is a peaceful place. Otherwise, I’m flexible and easygoing as long as things are done with care and respect.
