We are a family of 4 with Maarten (father) 44, Henriette (mother) 45, daughter Lavinia 13 and son Jamie 10. We look for an excellent driver, proactive animal loving person to help taking care of the house, garden, horses and dogs and support with the kids. Liv (Lavinia) is a very bright, creative and sporty girl, she is a talented hockey player, likes horse riding, and being a teenager loves cloths, make up and seeing her friends.. Jamie is a cute and happy boy, plays football, does free running, plays the piano and is easily distracted by anything with a screen (Help). Maarten has a full time job and travels a lot. As a family we value respect, open and clear communication, outdoor, animals and each other’s opinion. We are an energetic family; we travel a lot, we go skiing in the winter or spent our holidays in Scotland and the South of France. We love good food and enjoy hosting small dinner parties at home. We live on a small farm, just outside a village with a huge garden, forest and a lot of tranquillity and beauty.

We are an open minded family, fluent in Dutch, English and a bit of Spanish. We offer you a beautiful location in the countryside of Holland close to the city Utrecht. If you like the countryside, nature, quietness yet still within 30 minutes of a major city you come to the right place.

Who are we looking for? We look for someone who can help with day 2 day activities on our little farm: driving kids up and down to school, sport and music lessons, help with groceries, walking our dogs, keeping the house tidy and if possible help with our horses. You're a very responsible, trustworthy, hands-on person who is dedicated and keen to independently take care of our house. You are an excellent driver
Henriette recovered from a medical complication. Maarten, the father / husband, has a full time job and travels a lot. In the morning you help the kids with breakfast, prepare lunchbox and empty dishwasher. Walk the dogs 2x times a day and feed the animals in the afternoon. We have a cleaner coming in twice a week, however you'll help keep the main house tidy and you will keep your own room, bathroom and clothes nice and clean. We expect high hygiene (taking a shower every morning :-) from you as well as our kids.
In short we look for someone who is:
• Excellent driver
• Can cook
• Can swim
• Pro-active
• Hands-on
• Is outgoing, sporty and loves outdoor
• Able to run the entire household when parents are occasionally away
• Loves outdoor / gardens
In return you will be welcomed by a food loving, nature minded family. You will have your own house with max privacy, a bathroom, kitchen (if not needed by us) and ample free time to explore the Netherlands.
