Offering one air conditioned loft bedroom.
Located at Strathdickie in the Whitsundays.
Located 5 minutes from Proserpine and 15 minutes from Airlie Beach and central to all the local attractions such as the waterfalls, lake and beautiful mainland beaches.
With unlimited wifi, smart tv with Netflix.
Every thing you need for a very comfortable stay.
Your own transport is beneficial but not essential.
Trips to the shops and some outings are provided for free.
Specialised transfers are offered for the cost of the fuel.
I am qualified in many skills such as building, landscaping, mechanics as well as having run a local tour business teaching bush foods and survival skills.
I am looking for someone who can assist me with varied jobs around the property.
The kind of help I do here is varied from landscaping, gardening, and building all kinds of things.
Other tasks Can include, cleaning or assorted property maintenance.
Or if you have a skill that can be put to use then I’m always open to this as well.
I try to keep the tasks educational or fun when possible.
1 week or longer stays considered.
3 hours work a day is required for your accomodation.
Dinner can be provided for 1 hours work per meal.
I can only accomodate 1 person at a time. Please do not apply if more than one.
I am a smoker and do smoke in the house sometimes so if this might bother you please don’t apply.

I have worked in the tourism and hospitality business. I have been teaching people about Australia with my tours for over 10 years.
Bush foods, survival, landscaping horticulture and an awesome Australian sense of humour.

I spent 5days in Bruce's place and I had really nice time. Bruce is really welcoming person and he cares that people having a good time while traveling Australia. The job was mainly cleaning but not too hard. Bruce showed me place around Airlie Beach and also gave me a ticket for a party on New Year's eve! The dogs are very sweet and playful.… read more

We stayed with Bruce 5 days and we had an amazing time. The house is so beatiful, large windows, garden,.. everything very clean and confortable. Bruce is a great host, he worked with us at the house cleaning and gardening, after that he took us to really nice places in Airlie beach. He is full of energy and good vibes.

Cathrine and Laurie were excellent helpers.
They accomplished all tasks from some difficult outdoor jobs to painting, cleaning and landscaping.
They are clean ,respectful, honest and trustworthy.
