I'm so grateful Pontus welcomed me into his home, even when he didn't have a lot of tasks for me to help with. I spent 2 weeks there, got to explore the French Riviera and met his friends!

I stayed two weeks with Pontus and Alva as my first Workaway experience. I spent some fantastic days and felt at home. They are super helpful and involved me in every activity. They appreciated the dishes I cooked for them and I was very happy about that. They speak many different languages fluently and it was nice to hear their life

In addition, It's a nice area to stay and you can easily reach the most touristic places by bus and train.

Staying with Pontus and Alva is my very first Workaway experience and it’s been perfect. My rough plan was staying for a week or so but ended up with 1 month and a half.
They picked me up at the airport and we hit it off right away. Alva is the sweetest girl I’ve ever met, she is a perfect dancer and tour guide, always happy, talkative,
… read more energetic, warm-hearted and sympathetic. She literally knows everything for a 10-year-old. I love her doing accent and dancing after dinner.
Pontus is the best dad and he ‘s sssuper nice, always made sure I felt comfortable, we motivated each other on workout, sometimes we watched movies together. he explained everywhere around Biot to me and took me to loads of places in that area. He invited friends over and introduced us, l enjoyed hearing him switching from one language to another( he even tried to translate a whole French movie for me) , I mean he speaks 6.5 languages.
We exchanged cultures, food and everything. I’m super glad you liked the food I cooked and I'm surprised by how spicy Pontus can eat. Miss you so much. Hopefully we can see each other very soon!Só é possível entrar em contato com Workawayers com assinaturas ativas.

Pontus and Alva were the most gracious hosts. They made me feel at home right away and were always extremely generous and kind. I could not have asked for a better first Workaway experience!

My time with Alva and Pontus was amazing! I stayed with them for 12 days. Alva is such a funny, endearing and smart girl. Pontus always made sure that we felt welcome, confortable and that we enjoyed our stay. When I was not visiting around, I spent most my time with them.

… read more task, she is so fun to be around) to helping them moving into their new home. I also had my own room. There were buses close to the house to visit the cities around Biot (Antibes, Nice, Cannes, Valbonne, etc.). Biot is also a beautiful village.

I cannot even express how great Pontus and Alva are!! They were so welcoming and I felt like part of the family very quickly. The tasks Pontus will ask you to help out with will vary. They are doing work on their beautiful house that they bought, so he will have you help out with that. Pontus also does everything he can to make sure you have a
… read more great experience, and has a million suggestions of hikes, restaurants, and so many more things for you to do. They also live in a beautiful village and are a 5 minute walk away from the bus station. I definitely suggest coming to stay with them, I will be coming back as soon as possible!

Wow, thank you for everything! I just had an awesome workaway-experience! I stayed for 4 days.
Pontus and his daughter Alva welcomed me so hearthwarming, that I felt at home immediately. They tried to make everything possible, that I could have needed, and we had a great time together.
My tasks were very variable. As we moved from the old to the
… read more new house, I helped to move the kitchen, setting up the trampoline and cleaning/organizeing some rooms together with Alva. I also took care of Alva a few times, which was more of a pleasure than a task - she is adorable!
Both houses, the new and the old one, have a lot of character and are located in a beautiful village (Biot) with a great view (one with a rooftop terrace and one with a garden)!!! The train connections are also quite good (to Marseille, Nice, Cannes…). But I did nothing on my own, as I really enjoyed spending time with Pontus and Alva, so we spend our free-time together. (I still had enough private space, if I wanted).
I am also very impressed by the language-skills of both. Pontus knows so many languages on a very high level, and Alva just taught herself English and is fluent with it.
