We will be mainly doing tasks in the fields and several eco-projects;
The surrounding area has several green spots, with beautiful trails. There is a bigger village with a public pool, accesses and transportation 10/15 min away by car.
We are near the Tejo River and there are beaches 15 minutes away by car.
We can provide a bike.

The access is done through a 100-metre dirt road. If the vehicle is not too heavy or has 4x4 traction, it should pass just fine.

We have our own pets and a herd of goats grazing at the site every day. Our animals handle others, albeit your animals are not aggressive or reactive to other animals or people.

This experience was really great, I got to do many things I never did before, I met a lot people, learned some portuguese, learned songs and local cuisine, put to pasture sheep and goats, collected olives and mushrooms, I’ve seen vultures and satellites, I’ve fallen three times in a row, pet many animals, all you can wish for in a volunteer… read more
