Descrição
¡Hola! Hey there! Hallo!
Nice to meet you!
We‘re a lovely hostel which is located in beautiful La Fortuna. I am Wilson, born and raised in La Fortuna. I am managing this place and I am looking for friendly, responsible and open-minded people who would like to support us at the reception.
During your free time, you can read, make art, play the guitar, just relax in our hammocks or connect with many people at the hostel, who are coming from all over the world.
We are located in a peaceful area, but at the same time, you‘re just 5 minutes away from the main square. There you‘ll find several supermarkets, restaurants and bars, an ATM, a park and a bus station to all directions (we will provide full information).
Around 500 meters away, there is a sloth trail, 1,5 km away, you'll find a river where you can jump inside, 5 km away we have a beautiful waterfall.
There are more activities, such as Ziplining, hiking to the volcano, White Water Rafting, a coffee tour and many other things where we can help you with planning.
In this place, you can find a lovely balance between peace and adventure.
We‘re looking forward to meeting you!

Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado
Volunteering in this hostel is a great opportunity to connect with many people from many different countries, which makes it great to get to know other languages and cultures and share stories and knowledge. While living in La Fortuna, you will learn to see the area from a local perspective. If you want to learn about the Spanish language and cuisine, here is the right place for that :-)
Ajuda
We will need your help at the reception and/or as a driver for our tours.
The work will be:
- checking in the guests, taking payments, showing them our hostel, telling them about tours and what to do in the area
-support with general maintenance of the hostel, keeping the kitchen and common area clean, putting laundry in the washing machine
- if you have a license and you're comfortable with driving as well, it would be great if you could help us to drive the guests to different places in the area. (This is not a must, but would be a huge plus if you could help us with that)
-> A good command of the English language is required. You don‘t need to speak Spanish, but it would be a plus :-) Otherwise, here you would have a good opportunity to learn/improve your Spanish skills.
For the help, we will provide accommodation, as well as Internet, laundry once per week, one meal per day (usually breakfast), plus water, coffee or tea all the time.Idiomas

Important note: At the moment we can only accept female volunteers who are 23 years old or older. We only have a female dormitory available.
You‘ll get a bed in our female dormitory, which is only for volunteers and has its own private bathroom. Of course, you can use our Wifi and all facilities of our hostel, including the shared kitchen and outdoor space with hammocks.
We will provide one meal per day. If you're Vegetarian/Vegan or lactose/gluten free, that is no problem.Algo mais...
