  I am Sanne and together with Lars and my +/- 35 dogs I live 80 km north of Lulea in a small village (Krokträsk) in the middle of the forests next to some lakes.
  
  Our huskies are our colleagues, best friends and family! They all need good care and a lot of love, every single day! Feeding, cleaning dog yards, socializing, walking with the puppies and retired dogs, play time etc.
  
  You don't need experience with dogs, but it is a must that you want to spend time around them. I will teach you everything that is needed. It is most important that I can trust you around the dogs!
  
  Every season is different here, and even though a lot of our time is devoted to the dogs, we also live in an old house in the middle of nature and our house and property needs to be taken care of (repairs, garden help, painting, new projects). Our goal is to have some farm animals in the summer as well.
  
  In winter we share our passion for dogsledding and nature with tourists from all over the world. We take care of the guests and everything around these tours ourselves, you are not expected to help in our company in any way, but you help with things around the house, walking the retired dogs and puppies etc and you have the opportunity to learn everything about sleddogs.
  
  I would like to see motivation and flexibility. Some days can and will be long and most of the tasks will be physical. I can guarantee you have fun during this time and that you will learn a lot, but you will be tired at the end of the day :-)

  This is a great opportunity for you who loves dogs and outdoor life!
  
  You can learn everything about sled dogs, from daily routines, training the dogs, training the puppies to become sled dogs and driving your own team. The longer you can stay, the more we can teach you.
  
  Next to that you can go out explore the nature around us. Go hiking, berry picking, wildlife watching, fishing, snow-shoe walking, ...
  
  If you are a city-person that needs city-life once in a while, this might not be the place for you. We don't go to the city very often! The car is not shared, only for groceries once a week. People that stay longer might have some more opportunities but I need to get to know you first so no promises .

  Ajuda

  Every year and every season is different.
  We can discuss what specific tasks we will do during your time here over email.
  
  Because of the dogs I usually want people to stay a minimum of 6-8 weeks. They need some consistency to be a harmonious pack.
  
  SUMMER 26:
  I might look for a person for summer for 6-10 weeks. Pups will be born beginning of April so they need more socialising and small walks when they grow up. There are also some easy tasks in the house that I just bought. Also I try to arrange a holiday and need reliable help with the dogs when I am away.
  
  WINTER 26-27:
  I am looking for help from November / December 26, preferably staying for the whole winter season. We are very busy with the company ourselves and it takes some time to introduce new people with the dogs and the area, so we prefer longer stays.

  Acomodação

  You will live in a house in the village, around 400 m from the kennel and our house.
  
  You have your own or partly shared bed-room.
  There are 3 bedrooms (maybe more coming) and I usually have 2-4 people helping and living in the house. In rare occasions there will be just you or 5 people if there is some overlap.
  
  You share the livingroom, bathroom and kitchen.
  
  I expect that you keep everything tidy and clean and respect the people you live with.
  
  You get grocery money and the opportunity to go to the nearest town for shopping once a week. Sometimes we eat together and then that's my treat . Otherwise you arrange it with the people you share the house with if you want to share meals or not.
