  I have a beautiful quite property by the seaside surrounded of beaches, lacs, hills where I live on my own, it is perfect for relaxing or more challenging walks. Surf beach, fishing spots, horse riding near by
  
  I am a Dance teacher and the principal of the Galway Dance Centre, I teach only 1 day a week which leaves me lots of time for other passions

  Oportunidades de intercâmbio cultural e aprendizado

  I enjoy sharing my passions with my guests.
  One of them is travelling, which I did and still do widely, I enjoy discover new countries, new cultures, new people, therefore it is a good opportunity to spend time with natives from different countries, or different parts of Ireland and share our cultures, experiences, learn from one another.
  
  I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge this is a great opportunity for my guests to learn something during their stay, either dancing or languages…or both! Most guests come to learn English, I find important and very useful that I can explain some of the tricky parts of English in the native language of my guest (for example "home and house" ) as I am a native French person, I also have spent a lot of time in Cuba and Spanish countries therefore became fluent Spanish speaker too, and I am a Dance teacher (including Irish dance, social dancing, Latin dancing, Ballet, American tap …)
  
  I am learning the piano and would love to share music pieces.
  
  I enjoy learning new skills or improve my knowledge (with different guests I learnt few "computer short cuts", got help with creating posters, I learnt new recipes…) I am "open" to learning anything and everything!
  
  I enjoy "been out" I take care of my garden daily, go for walks, swims, I attend sport activities (badminton), go to cine club, my guests are welcome to join me, it is lovely to share these.
  
  I enjoy socializing, going to local events, inviting friends at home and it is a pleasure to be accompanied with my guests, and would help visitors to connect with locals and make new friends.

  Ajuda

  Tasks are fairly simple and mostly to help me doing them. The "more hands…the easier...and better".
  I am also happy if my guests suggest or choose tasks they prefer doing.
  - keep the garden in a good shape (hedge, drains, briars, lawn)
  - Keep house in a good state (clean, maintain its state)

  Acomodação

  Self catering accommodation on my property, near my house. There is a bad review about a sofa bed from a previous volunteer, but I would like you to know it has been replaced and the current sofa bed is very comfortable!

  My property is on a "cul de sac" leading to a white sand beach 5min walk away, it is safe to swim, also in front of the house it is a shore with high rocks fun to jump or fish from, a bicycle is provided to reach 2 villages with great pubs 6.5km away, a bus is available from those villages to go to Clifden the Connemarra's "capital" 17km away, where I also go at least once a week and guests are welcome to join me. At Gurteen beach few minutes away there is all the beach activities (summer time) and in Ballyconneely there is a very good golf, a fantastic surf spot and horse riding club. There are several local treks and small mountains to climb in the area. When I go to Galway for my work (once a week) guests can join me and take time to visit the lively city.
