Hej!
Welcome to our homestead in progress, it's a land of about 4 hectares with old pastures and meadows in the middle of nature and wildlife surrounded by Pine and Spruce forests for hiking, foraging, healing and lakes for fishing, swimming, paddling.
We who live here are my two daughters Lisa 18 and Maya 16 and me Tommy 47.
Except us we have the mousehunter and daydreamer Buddha and the Rooster Gyllenkam with his Chicks and sidekick Kalle and last, the romantic couple Kalle and Kajsa who are planing for ducklings.
I believe we are quite open-minded, we love to learn, meet new people, evolve and need to create. Lisa and Maja are in the age of finding their own path, moving finding and shaping new boundaries and expectations of life 🪷 I try to make the best of what life gives to me but I am everywhere with a lot of ideas spinning around to create. My goals are not easygoing but I aim hard and for the future for a healthier, more connected, sustainable and free life.
Life here is quite simple, no running water, dry compost toilet, fire stove for heating and cooking and also a propane stove for cooking.
Bucket showers is possible both indoor and outdoors and we also have a fire heated bathtub and a beautiful lake just a short hike through the forest.
The small amount of needed electricity is produced by a low voltage solar electric system.
Everything here is kind of made from scratch and built by hand, it's a slow process but for a low cost and ambition by the creative mind and true goals.
The goals are to have a smooth running homestead providing most needed to a healthy life and have small coarses in different kinds of handcrafts and more, both to share my own and possibly other peoples skills and knowledge, and for earning some money.
It's always a lot to be done so we need help with everything from gardening (new rised beds, planting trees, berries and vegetables), building shed, make boards and beems with the small sawmill), off-grid projects, firewood and a lot of greenwood work, testing, learning.. and meet new people.

I think it's a lot of new and old things to learn. When you build and make things with your hands and low cost. You need to use your head, reuse, invent, constantly learn new things and above all see how people managed back in the days when the life was harder but simpler..
You have the possibility to see, sense and integrate life from its possible true self, or just from another perspective, which at the moment seems to be growing at humanity in these times of shift and change in our world and consciousness.
There's a possibility that you learn or see what you'll need for your next step.

It's for you to choose how to live at your stay here, Van/motorhome, Caravan, Tent or in the Cabin.
We try to eat as much possible what the farm and surrounding gives. We are not vegan or vegetarian but eat quite much vegan or vegetarian food, specially summertime.

We live on the countryside surrounded by meadows, forest for harvesting berries mushrooms recreation and lakes for both swimming and fishing.
There is about a handfull of volunteerhosts in the area so it's possible to meet other volunteers and hosts.
National parks and other protected areas with trails for hiking/running and also Mtb trails. In aug-sept it's a harvestmarket/fest nearby.

They are working independent if you want them to and are eager to do their best. Lisa and Maja really loved them and had a blast, playing, painting, talking and joking all the time. It felt really empty when they left, that's a promise!

In a period that I was truly out of balance and even had to go away working they came and helped me as best they could with the fence and Lisa and Maja had the opportunity to play with kids in about same age, Kate and Thais after school.
