Hi, my name is Heike. I live here on my big and beautiful farmyard with my cat and sometimes a couple of bnb-guests who stay in an extra apartment next door.
My farm is located in a nature reserve "Gieselau-valley" in Dithmarschen / Schlewig- Holstein. This is in the north of Germany - next to the Nord-Ostsee-Kanal - surrounded by beautiful nature and not far away from the North Sea (~20 minutes with the car). And if you saw enough from the countryside, Hamburg is just 90 km away and reachable by public transportation.
The exchange we offer is very diverse, because we always have different projects running. For example: gardening in a greenhouse or just outside in the garden, making firewood, completion of a mini "roof-only house", painting and repairing various things around and inside the house, making an outside bathing place, looking after the cat, housesitting in the winter and many more... be creative ... maybe creating mosaics, building beautiful outside places, cooking tasty meals...
You have the opportunity to learn to juggle, spit fire ... In your free time you can explore different places, exploring the nature, swimming in the north sea or just relaxing with a book in the garden.
We are exited to meet nice people from all over the world and hopefully make some new friends! :)

I'd love to show you some local cooking and of cause if you are interested you can learn some german.
My english is not perfect, but I think we will get along easily.
I can teach you how to juggle, how to do swinging with fire tops.
There are bikes for exploring the environment and a lot a nice places to visit around.
Near the Northsea there is the World Natural Heritage - the Wadden Sea.
Next to our place is the "AÖZA Albersdorf", - Stone Age-like build houses and monuments.
Sometimes we will have big house partys with live music and nice people.
Festivals are going to be visited like:
- "Rock an der Eider"
- Dragon Festival in St.Peter Ording
- Beach partys in Büsum, St. Peter Ording
- Frequenzen festival in Meldorf

There is a big room inside at the moment with a big cosy matress on the floor (bed is comig soon) for a single person or two friends or a couple.
Later you can change to the only-roof house, if you like.
You can stay in your own tent everywhere at the farm in the nature.
Singing birds will be your alarm clock in the morning and if you are lucky you might see some deer sneaking past.

Ich konnte viele verschiedene Sachen ausprobieren, die Arbeit hat mir persönlich total Spaß gemacht und ich hab sogar eine Reihe neuer Fotos für mein Profi!
Haus und Garten sind sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und man hatte auch viel Platz für sich.
